Artist Chlo Hej invites the public to discover her latest exhibition "Before Sunrise" at the "Reg’Arts en Marensins" gallery, an exhibition capturing serene and transformative moments of dawn. This collection captures the subtle interaction between light and color just before the sun appears on the horizon.
Based in Capbreton, Chlo Hej draws her inspiration from her travels around the world. This exhibition continues her collaboration with the luxury eco-resort "Komune" in Bali, where she created a series of paintings inspired by the connection to the ocean and moments of the day.
The works presented in "Before Sunrise" reflect her exploration of both inner and outer landscapes, expressed through abstract and contemporary techniques. Each canvas invites the viewer to slow down, reconnect with their own rhythm, and meditate on the ephemeral beauty of dawn.

Cette collection saisit la subtile interaction entre la lumière et les couleurs juste avant l'apparition du soleil à l'horizon.
Basée à Capbreton, Chlo Hej puise son inspiration dans ses voyages à travers le monde. Cette exposition marque la continuité d'une collaboration avec l'écoresort de luxe "Komune" à Bali, où elle a créé une série de peintures inspirées du lien à l’océan et aux moments de la journée.
Les œuvres présentées dans "Before Sunrise" reflètent son exploration des paysages intérieurs et extérieurs, exprimées à travers des techniques abstraites et contemporaines. Chaque toile invite à ralentir, se reconnecter à son propre rythme et méditer sur la beauté éphémère de l’aube.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Chlo Hej is a contemporary artist and architect living and working on the French Atlantic coast. Originally from a village near Chartres, she studied Fine Arts, Art History, and Architecture in France and Denmark. Since 2013, she has worked in various architectural firms in France and Switzerland, and founded her own art studio in 2018. Travel is a major source of inspiration for Chlo Hej, incorporating multicultural influences and a deep connection to nature into her abstract and contemporary creations. Her work plays with transparency, rhythms of lines and dots, creating dynamic and immersive pieces.
Chlo Hej also creates murals, including a recent 50m² mural at Hostel Hejmo in Hossegor, showcasing her interest in transforming spaces with her compositions.
In 2022, she co-founded the association Hope Wave, establishing a link between art and the environmental issues of the oceans. This initiative reflects her commitment to using art to raise awareness and reflect on the protection of marine environments.

À PROPOS DE L’ARTISTE
Chlo Hej est une artiste contemporaine et architecte qui vit et travaille sur la côte atlantique française. Originaire d'un village près de Chartres, elle a étudié les Arts Plastiques, l'Histoire de l'Art et l'Architecture en France et au Danemark. Depuis 2013, elle a travaillé dans divers cabinets d'architecture en France et en Suisse, et a fondé son propre atelier artistique en 2018.
Les voyages sont une source majeure d'inspiration pour Chlo Hej, intégrant des influences multiculturelles et une profonde connexion à la nature dans ses créations abstraites et contemporaines. Son travail joue avec la transparence, les rythmes de lignes et de points, créant des œuvres dynamiques et immersives.
Chlo Hej réalise également des fresques murales, dont une récente de 50m² à l'Hostel Hejmo à Hossegor, illustrant son intérêt pour transformer les espaces avec ses compositions.
En 2022, elle co-fonde l'association Hope Wave, établissant un lien entre l'art et les enjeux environnementaux des océans. Cette initiative reflète son engagement à utiliser l'art pour sensibiliser et réfléchir à la protection des milieux marins.
