INTERACTOR HIGHLIGHT
For the month of March, the Interact Newlstter team has chosen to highlight, Joey Novello. As a senior, Joey has been actively engaged in Interact since his junior year, assuming the role of President of the San Juan Interact Club. Throughout his tenure, Joey has contributed to over twenty five events, with persona; highlights including assisting Rotarians in setting up and cleaning up for the car show, as well as aiding in the kitchen during the pancake breakfast to serve Marines. His involvement in Interact
has not only provided opportunities for volunteering and meeting new people, but has also allowed him to make a positive impact.
Joey particularly cherishes the connections forged and the satisfaction derived from helping others. Initially drawn by the influence of friends and the potential college applications, including the example set by Joey’s brother’s involvement, Joey has found it a fulfilling and enriching experience and encourages others to join Interact and experience many of its rewards firsthand. We hope everyone in Interact will have the same great experiences Joey has had thus far. Keep up the great work Joey!

INTERNATIONAL PROJECT
Want to get involved in Interact at the international level? Our district is working on contributing towards a Global Grant Project located in Veracruz, Mexico. With enough funds, we will support a rainwater harvesting system for the Public Health Center and low-income housing. This will center around one of the Rotary Areas of focus: Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene. Check our our Instagram @interact.district5320 for more
information about this upcoming project! In order to allocate the funds to make this awesome project happen, we need your help! Our very own Dana Hills Interact Club is holding a See’s Candies fundraiser in order to raise the funds. All the Interact clubs across the district are undertaking this fundraiser. All we need to do is encourage our friends and family to purchase See’s Candies for Easter. They can be bought online and the candy will be shipped directly to them. For the first two lines on the order page, we get 50% off of every order. For all other items, we get 20%. Everything we raise will be doubled by Rotary. This is your chance to make a difference! Send this link to your friends and family and ask for their support from the QR code below. They will receive a great easter candy item, plus they will help make a difference in this world. All orders must be placed on or before March 15th! If your club does not have a separate fundraiser for the Vera Cruz project, this is one way your members can participate. If you would like more information about the International Project, please contact our Interact District 5320 Governor Laila Naji at lailanaji61@gmail.com
