Students encounter and possibly read quotes from books or about books as they use the space and seating. These quotes could inspire the students to look further into the source/ origin of the quotes.
With the increased use of electronic devices in education and online resources, the area dedicated to digital media within the library does not correlate with this change. The wall surfaces of the existing library are lined with bookshelves with only a small computer section having access to power outlets. The laptops in the library are locked away and hidden. Thus, students are not aware of the resources available to them. Therefore, digital access is limited within the library and flexible use of digital media is not supported. By providing space for digital media in addition to the existing physical media, this library accommodates different modes of learning and thus connection between medias.

abc brooklyn is a bakery, dining, bar, and outdoor event space. The space is a combination vibrant pop and farmers market to produce a green, calming, and vibrant space. While the design encourages local market businesses to provide fresh and plant based produce, the motive of the design is to open the space to vibrant pop colors of brooklyn that represents the community festivals, nightlife and diversity. It will also highlight brooklyn street mural arts to make it feel connected to the local neighbourhood. This will be accompanied by greenery to blur the lines of outdoor/indoor experiences. The aim will be to choose recycled furniture or materials to promote the core values of abc kitchen and encourage more awareness about sustainability.

PROPSED WINDOW THRESHOLD EXPERIENCE
The decline of brick-and-mortar retail stores as a result of the convenience of online retail is an opportunity for retail spaces to shift from the main purpose of product purchases to prioritizing a retailtainment experience. This can create brand awareness, build trust, and positive experiences to further support product purchases both online and in-store. This is an opportunity to redefine the threshold user experience by investigating how the relationship of traditional store windows can become immersive experiences and blur historic archetypes. Instead of the windows providing escapism only through viewing the user can be included in an immersive experience and become part of the visual display where all the senses are activated as different programs are introduced to this window space.

As populations are rising globally, areas are constantly being filled with skyscrapers, making parks and playgrounds grounded oases. This relation is explored through collage in analogue black and white film photographs and vivid digital images with inspirations taken from Tatiana Bilbao’s 2019 Unravelling Modern Living collage and LOT-EK’s Foldable #1 (2016).

Since Tbilisi is the threshold location where visitors will have their first and last impression of Georgia it is critical to incorporate and present Georgia’s diverse culture and the welcoming belief that guests are gifts from god. The common area lounge highlights Geogia’s numerous national parks as well as the amphitheatre-like mountainous geography of Tbilisi. This geography is reflected in the organically shaped seating and layout which also supports socialization. The Nature of Georgia is reflected with hanging foliage overlapping as they are suspended from different heights to create an atmosphere of under nature as light filters through.

Inspired by origami crames, this installation aims to reconstuct origami forms with the use of box joints and slotting joinery. There are two types of pieces (wall and corner) constructed from planar triangular pieces . The pieces will vary in size and color to create depth. Pieces that are lighter in color will appear closer, while the pieces that should be further away will contain more darker planes. These pieces will be attached to the wall. However, some pieces will be hung. This is so that more pieces can be included to create a higher density of birds as well adding as depth.
