Welcome to the Chino Valley Leadership Collaborative, Cohort #3! I’m excited to have you on this journey over the next ten months, where you'll connect, learn from, and grow alongside fellow leaders from our region

The Leadership Collaborative started three years ago as part of the Upskill Chino Valley initiative, which focuses on workforce development, leadership, and economic growth. This program exemplifies our commitment to building a stronger, interconnected community.

Throughout the program, you’ll tour key organizations in Chino, Chino Hills, and nearby areas, gaining insights from leaders in various sectors such as Government, Public Safety, Healthcare, and Education. Our goal is to enhance your leadership skills while fostering relationships that empower our community to tackle challenges.

Together, we’ve achieved remarkable milestones, like installing AED stations through the HeartSafe program and raising $20,000 for the Chino Children’s Community Theatre

Your experience will be equally impactful

You’ll also collaborate on a significant community project, culminating in a presentation that reflects your shared vision This year’s cohort brings together an impressive group of individuals from diverse backgrounds, and I encourage you to connect with each other

Renay Sehgal Mehta, MBA Chino Valley Chamber Vice President

I am thrilled to officially welcome our third cohort to the Chino Valley Leadership Collaborative! This marks the start of an incredible journey, and we couldn’t be more excited about what lies ahead

As members of Cohort 3, you’re joining a dynamic community of leaders dedicated to learning, growth, and creating lasting change in Chino Valley and the region This experience is about more than just building skills; it’s a unique opportunity to connect with some of the area’s most passionate and influential professionals, forming relationships that will last a lifetime and leave a meaningful legacy.

Over the coming months, you’ll immerse yourself in our community, gaining valuable insights into the industries and organizations that drive our local economy. From manufacturing plants to hospitals, airports, and government facilities, you’ll have a chance to wear many hats (literally and figuratively) exploring a range of fields and learning through hands-on experiences. Along the way, you’ll participate in exclusive site visits, panel discussions and leave a lasting impact with respected industry leaders all designed to broaden your perspective and empower you to make a difference

Eunice Ulloa City of Chino, Mayor

Mayor Eunice M. Ulloa has served Chino for over 30 years in roles from Planning Commissioner to Mayor. She represents Chino on boards like the SBCTA and Omnitrans and is committed to preserving the city’s agricultural heritage. A former Project Manager at General Dynamics, she holds a B.S. from Cal Poly Pomona and focuses on business growth, safety, and youth programs.

Sarah Ramos-Evinger

Chino Valley Fire, Vice President

Vice President Sarah Ramos-Evinger has served on the Chino Valley Fire District Board since 2009, holding roles as both President and Vice President. Previously, she was on the Chino Valley Fire Foundation board for over eight years, supporting public safety, education, and charitable aid for those impacted by tragedy or injury.

Margareth Jackson Chino Police Department, Management Assistant

Margareth, born in Rio de Janeiro and raised in Chino after moving in 1976, graduated from Chino High School and pursued a career in medical assisting, where she worked for 20 years in various roles, including Medical Assistant and Orthopedic Surgery Scheduler Her dedication earned her several accolades, including a Chief’s Commendation and the Chief’s Award of Distinction in 2022 Married to Wayne for 29 years, Margareth is a proud mother of two sons and deeply committed to her community

Albert Chang Transtech, Public Affairs

Albert Chang, MPA, grew up in the San Gabriel Valley and has lived in Washington, DC, and Shanghai, enhancing his crosscultural sensitivity In 2003, he became the youngest ChineseAmerican elected to public office in California, serving on the Rowland Unified School District's Governing Board until 2007 He is active in the NEOC Rotary Leadership Club and PBS SoCal/KCET Community Advisory Board. Albert holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of La Verne and Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Science and Asian American Studies from UC Irvine.

Raziel Arciega LNR Promotions, Owner

I was born in Manila, raised in Queens, and earned my BS in Computer Science and MBA in Accounting from St John's University After moving to California in 1997, I started a family and launched a promotional items business in 2022, serving clients across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. I’m passionate about supporting diverse communities and small businesses and am involved in non-profits and chambers. Soon, I will receive an Honorary Doctorate in Humanitarianism.

Karianne Voorhees Voorhee’s Law Group, Owner

Kariann Voorhees founded Voorhees Law Group to support growing families and business owners, blending her business and real estate expertise with a passion for coaching. Her practice includes probate avoidance, incapacity planning, estate settlement, and strategic advice on tax and asset protection, all delivered with empathy and clarity

As a co-founder of the Mandros Family Foundation, she helps families facing medical hardships and serves as President of the Inland Empire Chapter of the Exit Planning Institute, fostering collaboration among local advisors

Kariann enjoys camping and hiking with her husband and three children in Yorba Linda and is a devoted fan of all Chicago sports teams, celebrating the Cubs' World Series win

Vincent Graham UMO, Owner

Vincent’s passion lies in dismantling complex processes, making it effortless for creators to bring their visions to life. This commitment extended to my work in traditional media and vr, where he aimed to streamline media and technology content creation, empowering auteurs to realize their full potential.

Andrew Alonzo

IEUA, Manager of Administrative Services

Andrew Alonzo is an experienced human resources and administrative management professional with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from USC He began his career at a Pasadena law firm and later transitioned to the public sector, serving as Human Resources Officer and then Manager of Administrative Services at Inland Empire Utilities Agency There, he focuses on enhancing efficiency and standardizing processes Andrew is passionate about team building and looks forward to engaging with the Chino Valley Leadership Collaborative

Fire Chief Assistant

I joined the Chino Valley Fire District in December of 2022 as the new Assistant to the Fire Chief. While at the city of Chino, I worked in the City Manager’s Office and served as the Liaison to the City Council as well as assisted the City Manager. I’m a hometown Chino girl who graduated from Chino High School and attended Chaffey College in Rancho Cucamonga. I’ve worked as an Executive Assistant for the city of Ontario, the Ontario Convention Center and Lewis Group of Companies I enjoy spending time with my family, enjoying friends, and traveling

Daniel Munoz Red Wing Shoes, Owner

Owner of the new Red Wing Shoes Chino that opened in January of this year 2024 This is something I trained my whole life for with 30 years of upper management experience with Skechers USA, Sunglass Hut, Tumi Inc and Red Wing Shoe stores All are leaders in their market through innovation, standards and level of customer service My plan is to offer my store or company as an option to partner in their company/work safety programs.

Laura Acosta Fogelsong Towing, Owner

I’m Laura Acosta, owner of Foglesong Towing and Storage in Ontario. We serve the Inland Empire with a fleet of eight trucks, offering recovery, towing, roadside assistance, and storage for fleets of five or more. We have contracts with the Ontario Police Department and Rancho Cucamonga CHP, and we provide parking enforcement for private properties. Available 24/7, you can reach us at (909) 984-2644.

Bryan Rivera Kaiser Permanente, Assistant Medical Group Administrator

Bryan Rivera is a healthcare leader with over 20 years at Kaiser Permanente, focusing on ambulatory care operations He holds a Master’s in Healthcare Administration and a Bachelor’s in Organizational Leadership

As Assistant Medical Group Administrator for Primary Care and Urgent Care in San Bernardino County, he oversees care for 672,000 members and improves patient experience. He also teaches healthcare management at CSU Long Beach. Outside of work, Bryan is married to Jessica for 17 years and has two sons, Cade (12) and Brody (9), who love golfing.

Daniel Bobadilla City of Chino Hills, Public Works Director/ City Engineer

Daniel Bobadilla has been the Public Works Director/City Engineer for Chino Hills since July 2019, overseeing Utilities Operations and Engineering. With over 25 years in the field, he began as an Associate Civil Engineer for Los Angeles County and later served as Principal Civil Engineer for Azusa. Daniel holds a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, and a Master’s in Public Administration from USC In his spare time, he enjoys coaching his daughters' sports teams and golfing with his wife Violeta and their two daughters

Edward Jones, Financial Advisor

I am a partner and financial advisor at Edward Jones in Chino Hills, focusing on tax strategies, estate planning, and wealth management for business owners and high-net-worth individuals I enjoy building relationships and supporting local businesses I serve on the Boards of the Chino Valley Chamber of Commerce and the Exit Planning Institute - Inland Empire In my free time, I love spending time with my wife Kristine and our three children, and I recently completed two half marathons in Orange County and Long Beach

Renee McMullen Houseman, Senior Cost Accountant

My name is Renee McMullen. I’ve lived in Chino Hills for 26 years with my husband and two sons, drawn to the area for its landscape, schools, and parks We’ve been active in local sports, building lasting friendships through AYSO soccer and NJB basketball I’ve worked at Hussmann Corporation for 31 years, gaining valuable experience and mentorship despite changes in ownership Now that my children are grown, I’m eager to give back to my community and was excited to learn about the Chino Valley Leadership Collaborative

Suzette Dang is a Senior Field Representative for Supervisor Curt Hagman in the Fourth District With over 30 years in business and marketing, she builds community partnerships and coordinates events like Coffee with Curt and Job Fairs Committed to serving San Bernardino County residents, she ensures they receive excellent support and takes pride in her role within the community

Deanna Margaritha Infusion Zone, Owner

Deanna is the founder of Infuzion Zone Laser Tag in Chino Hills, California After a 20-year career in healthcare and finance, she became a small business owner, earning the Rising Star Award in 2019 Infuzion Zone has won several community awards, including the 2020 Business of the Year from the Chino Valley Chamber Deanna also serves as Chairwoman of the Chamber Board and is active in Delta Sigma Theta Sorority and Jack and Jill of America She and her husband Axel have been married for 15 years and enjoy traveling with their 13-year-old son

Aseret Bibo, founder of Dama Design & Build Inc., is redefining the construction industry. She transitioned from landscape design to CEO Her firm now stands as a trusted resource for contractors and entrepreneurs, providing a range of services from environmental testing & sampling (mold & lead), project management to business development, and financial structuring Understanding the unique challenges women face, Aseret built Dama into a resource-rich hub for entrepreneurs, especially those new to the industry

Ranjana Sehgal House of Pistachios, Founder

As a young immigrant arriving in the US at 17, I started my career at Penn Life Financial, then became an Accounting Supervisor at Beverly Manor Hospital and the first IndianAmerican officer at the La Habra Police Department In 1985, I founded House of Pistachios, allowing me to raise my four children while building a successful business Today, I manage daily operations and am committed to fostering community partnerships to help local businesses and organizations thrive

Day 1: Orientation/ Non-Profit Day

On November 1, 2024, the Chino Valley Leadership Program begins with an Orientation Day focused on connecting participants with local non-profits The day includes breakfast, alumni sharing experiences, an icebreaker game of Cohort Bingo, and introductions from the Chamber Leadership Team about their roles and vision.

Participants will join a scavenger hunt exploring ten landmarks in Chino and Chino Hills, capturing creative photos After lunch, various non-profits will present their missions and initiatives The day concludes with a Community Goods Project discussion, sign-ups for collaborative efforts, and brainstorming ideas to support local initiatives This experience aims to foster strong connections and inspire community engagement.
