ROUTE INFORMATION Route Maps, Logs, Aid Stations and Rider Services July 20-22, 2013
First Aid: First aid service will be provided at all aid stations, along the route by riding medics and at the Finish Line. Do not hesitate to consult with our medical staff if you feel dizzy, sore, excessively tired or have an injury, however minor. Please supply your own ibuprofen or be prepared to sign a release at each aid station. Sag Wagons: Vans have been outfitted with bike racks to comfortably carry you and your bike up a hill, to the next aid station or to the daily Finish Line if needed. Please note that there will be no direct service to the Finish Line from all points on the course. A sag wagon “connection” may be necessary to get to the Finish Line. Anyone needing sag wagon support should find the closest and safest spot on the road for the van to stop. NOTE: Riders with trailers and tandem bikes may have a longer wait for a sag wagon due to space limitations. Sag wagons are not available on bike paths. Riders riding with children who need a car seat will be required to wait for our special sag van to accommodate children. Aid Stations: Aid stations will be placed at regular intervals along the course. Take the time to grab a snack and fill up your water bottle. Please keep your bike off the side of the road when stopping. Bicycle Service: Mechanics from sponsoring bike shops are available at the Start/Finish Line and course aid stations to help with bike repairs. Inexpensive parts and labor are provided free, riders can pay for more expensive parts at end of day.
