Octavio Arbelaez
(FIAV Bogota, Circulart Medellian, FIT Manizales) es un abogado y productor cultural colombiano. Ha sido Decano de la Facultad de Artes de la Universidad Nacional de Caldas, Consultor del Programa de las Naciones Unidas para el Desarrollo y Director Nacional de Artes del Ministerio de Cultura de Colombia. Actualmente se desempeña como Director del Festival Internacional de Teatro de Manizales y Director de Circulart Mercado de la Música de Medellín, ambos en Colombia. Es también Director de MAPAS Mercado de las Artes Performativas del Atlántico Sur, con sede en Tenerife, Islas Canarias, España. Es un activo participante en mercados, congresos y conferencias de artes escénicas en Iberoamérica. Director del Festival Internacional de Teatro de Manizales (Colombia) y Curador del Festival Comfama San Ignacio de Medellín y del Festival de Artes de la Calle de Santafé de Antioquia (Colombia) Director de CIRCULART Mercado de las Músicas y las artes escénicas iberoamericanas Medellín (Colombia) Co-Director de MAPAS Mercado de las Artes Performativas del Atlántico Sur Tenerife (España)
Octavio Arbelaez (FIAV Bogotá, Circulart Medellín, FIT Manizales) is a Colombian lawyer and cultural producer. He has been Dean of the Faculty of Arts at the National University of Caldas, Consultant for the United Nations Development Program, and National Director of Arts at the Ministry of Culture of Colombia. He currently serves as Director of the Manizales International Theater Festival and Director of the Circulart Music Market of Medellín, both in Colombia. He is also Director of MAPAS Mercado de las Artes Performativas del Atlántico Sur, based in Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain. He is an active participant in markets, congresses, and conferences on performing arts in Latin America. Freddy Ginebra Giudicelli
(Festival Internacional de Teatro Republica Dominicana) nació en Santo Domingo el 17 de febrero de 1944. Estudió derecho en la Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo (UASD). Luego en la Universidad de Nueva York estudió filología inglesa, ciencias de la comunicación y relaciones públicas. En 1964, con 19 años, produjo el programa de televisión Cita con la Juventud, y en 1974 fundó Casa de Teatro, emblemático recinto cultural, ubicado en la Ciudad Colonial, un espacio para artistas visuales, poetas, teatristas, danza y músicos que mantiene ininterrumpidamente calendario de actividades culturales permanente, entre ellas obras de teatro, espectáculos de danza, exposiciones de pintura, artes visuales y música. Ha recibido distintos reconocimientos a su extensa e intensa obra como promotor, gestor y creador cultural, entre los que se encuentran el Premio Camilo Carrau como “Orgullo Nacional en el Cine”, durante el Festival de Cine Global Dominicano en su 11a edición; Caballero de la Ordre des Arts et des Lettres (Caballero de la Orden de las Artes y Letras) por la República de Francia; Orden de Isabel la Católica, en el grado de Cruz de Oficial, por el Reino de España y Gestor Cultural Más Influyente del Siglo XX, otorgado en la tercera edición del Festival Internacional de Teatro Hispanoamericano de Rhode Island, Estados Unidos.
Freddy Ginebra Giudicelli (Dominican Republic International Theatre Festival) was born in Santo Domingo on February 17, 1944. He studied law at the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo (UASD). Later, at New York University, he studied English Philology, Communication Sciences and Public Relations. In 1964, at the age of 19, he produced the television program “Cita con la Juventud” (Date with Youth), and in 1974 he founded Casa de Teatro, an emblematic cultural venue located in the Colonial City, a space for visual artists, poets, theater, dance and musicians that maintains an uninterrupted calendar of permanent cultural activities, including plays, dance performances, painting, visual arts and music exhibitions. He’s received various awards for his extensive and intense work as a promoter, manager and cultural creator, including the Camilo Carrau Award for “National Pride in Cinema” during the 11th edition of the Dominican Global Film Festival; Knight of the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres (Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters) by the Republic of France; Order of Isabel la Católica, in the degree of Officer’s Cross, by the Kingdom of Spain and Most Influential Cultural Manager of the 20th Century, awarded at the third edition of the Rhode Island International Hispanic-American Theater Festival, United States.
Cristian Fabian Losada Rojas
(Festival Internacional de las Artes MINGA) es Licenciado en Artes Escénicas con Énfasis en Teatro por Universidad de Caldas (Colombia), Licenciado en Teatro de la Universidad Veracruzana (México) en donde desarrolló un trabajo de investigación teatral bajo la dirección del Dr. Domingo Adame y Magister en Artes Escénicas por la Universidad Veracruzana (México). En la actualidad, es candidato a Magister en Artes en la Universidad de Caldas (Colombia) y candidato a Magister en Teatro con mención en Diseño en la UNICEN (Argentina). Se ha vinculado a importantes festivales artísticos del territorio colombiano como: Festival Iberoamericano de Teatro de Bogotá, Festival Internacional de Teatro de Manizales, Festival Internacional de la Imagen - Universidad de Caldas, Festival Internacional de Teatro Universitario - Universidad de Caldas, Festival Iberoamericano de Títeres (en Manizales), Festival Internacional de las Artes MINGA, (...), entre otros. Se ha desempeñado como Productor y Director Técnico de festival internacionales como Festival Internacional Danza Extrema (México), Festival de Títeres Sergio Peregrina (México), y Centro Cultural de Danza La Serpiente (México).
Cristian Fabian Losada Rojas (MINGA International Arts Festival) holds a degree in Performing Arts with an emphasis in Theater from the University of Caldas (Colombia), a degree in Theater from the University of Veracruz (Mexico) where he developed a theatrical research work under the direction of Dr. Domingo Adame and a Master’s degree in Performing Arts from the University of Veracruz (Mexico). Currently, he is a candidate for a Master’s degree in Arts at the University of Caldas (Colombia) and a candidate for a Master’s degree in Theater with a mention in Design at UNICEN (Argentina). He has been involved in important artistic festivals in Colombia such as: Ibero-American Theater Festival of Bogotá, International Theater Festival of Manizales, International Image Festival - University of Caldas, International University Theater Festival - University of Caldas, IberoAmerican Puppet Festival (in Manizales), MINGA International Arts Festival, (...), among others. He has worked as Producer and Technical Director of international festivals such as the International Extreme Dance Festival (Mexico), the Sergio Peregrina Puppet Festival (Mexico), and the La Serpiente Cultural Dance Center (Mexico).
Angel Gil Orrios
(NYC TeatroFest) Desde 2000 es Director Artístico/ Ejecutivo del prestigioso Thalia Spanish Theatre de Nueva York. En sus 49 años de carrera artística ha realizado más de 140 producciones teatrales en España, Francia, Estados Unidos, Corea y Latinoamérica, que le han valido el elogio de los críticos por sus innovadoras puestas de escena y le han hecho merecedor de más de 100 Premios internacionales, entre ellos: Latin Grammy 2007 al Mejor Album de Tango; Premio de Arte y Cultura 2009 del Alcalde de Nueva York; Premio ACE de Oro 2010 de la Asociación de Críticos de Espectáculos de NY; Premio Raúl Juliá HOLA Founders Award 2017 Por Excelencia Artística; en Madrid, Medalla de Oro 2022 a la Alianza de Teatros Latinos NY y Premio Talía Internacional 2023 de la Academia de las Artes Escénicas de España a la Mejor Producción en Nueva York de Autoría Hispana Contemporánea; Medalla de Plata 1987 de la Academie des Arts-Sciences-Lettres en París; y Premio Príncipe Fernando 1975 en Zaragoza. Nació en Cariñena (Zaragoza, España), donde se tituló como Director de Escena en la Escuela de Arte Dramático de Zaragoza. En 1979 el Comité Conjunto Hispano-Norteamericano le concedió una Beca para ir a Estados Unidos a realizar una investigación sobre las comedias musicales de Broadway y desde entonces reside en Nueva York. Como Profesor ha impartido Master Clases y conferencias en universidades, centros culturales y teatros de Estados Unidos, España, y Latinoamerica, entre ellas: Harvard University, New York University, Columbia University, City University of NY, Instituto Cervantes, Casa de América en Madrid, Universidad Internacional Menéndez Pelayo en Santander, Universidad Nacional de Manizales, EAFIT de Medellin, UNITEC de Bogotá y Teatro Nacional de Guatemala.

He was born in Cariñena (Zaragoza, Spain), where he graduated as a Stage Director at the School of Dramatic Art in Zaragoza. In 1979, the Joint Spanish-North American Committee granted him a Scholarship to go to the United States to conduct research on Broadway musicals and he has lived in New York ever since. As a professor, he has given master classes and lectures at universities, cultural centers, and theaters in the United States, Spain, and Latin America, including: Harvard University, New York University, Columbia University, City University of NY, Instituto Cervantes, Casa de América in Madrid, Menéndez Pelayo International University in Santander, National University of Manizales, EAFIT in Medellin, UNITEC in Bogotá, and the National Theater of Guatemala.
Karina Salguero Moya
(Costa Rica) es comunicadora, consultora de gestión cultural, escritora, filóloga y MBA. Fue directora ejecutiva del Teatro Nacional de Costa Rica del 2019 hasta 2024. Mantiene un programa en Desayunos de Radio Universidad de Costa Rica sobre temas de fortalecimiento de la economía creativa. Actualmente es vicepresidenta de la asociación Iberoamérica Diseña. Ha sido miembro de Juntas Administrativa y de la Fundación del Museo de Arte y Diseño Contemporáneo (MADC); también formó parte de la junta del Colegio de Costa Rica del Ministerio de Cultura y Juventud; del Consejo Asesor de la Bienal Iberoamericana de Diseño (BID). Estudió Filología Española, tiene una maestría ejecutiva en Administración de Negocios del INCAE. Es columnista de nuevos discursos culturales y escribe artículos culturales para diferentes medios. Ha escrito, editado y publicado libros sobre el resguardo de la Isla del Coco, la recuperación gráfica del trabajo del rotulador Mr Masking, los avances de la meta de erradicación de la apatridia con el ACNUR y otros. Ha dirigido y editado proyectos independientes, como la revista Rara en Guatemala y Orsai en Iberoamérica. Trabajó como directora de Revistas y Suplementos en Grupo Nación, directora artística en la Feria Internacional del Libro de Costa Rica. Ha sido consultora para la OEI en temas de desarrollo de proyectos culturales con Asociaciones de Desarrollo Comunal, consultora durante la transformación del Museo del Oro de los Museos del Banco Central y ha colaborado como consejera sobre procesos de dinamización económica y comunicación de derechos culturales para el Ministerio de Cultura y Juventud y otras instituciones.
Karina Salguero Moya (Costa Rica) is a communicator, cultural management consultant, writer, philologist and MBA. She was executive director of the National Theater of Costa Rica from 2019 to 2024. She maintains a program on Desayunos de Radio Universidad de Costa Rica on topics of strengthening the creative economy. She is currently vice president of the Iberoamérica Diseña association. She has been a member of the Administrative Boards and the Foundation of the Museum of Contemporary Art and Design (MADC); she was also part of the board of the Colegio de Costa Rica of the Ministry of Culture and Youth; of the Advisory Council of the Ibero-American Design Biennial (IDB). She studied Spanish Philology, has an executive master’s degree in Business Administration from INCAE. She is a columnist for new cultural discourses and writes cultural articles for different media. She has written, edited and published books on the protection of Cocos Island, the graphic recovery of the work of the marker Mr Masking, the progress of the goal of eradicating statelessness with the UNHCR and others. She has directed and edited independent projects, such as the magazine Rara in Guatemala and Orsai in Latin America. She worked as director of Magazines and Supplements at Grupo Nación, artistic director at the International Book Fair of Costa Rica. She has been a consultant for the OEI on issues of development of cultural projects with Community Development Associations, consultant during the transformation of the Gold Museum of the Museums of the Central Bank and has collaborated as an advisor on processes of economic revitalization and communication of cultural rights for the Ministry of Culture and Youth and other institutions.
Lola Torrealba Millar
(Santiago OFF Chile) es licenciada en artes, actriz, docente, y gestora cultural, ha dedicado gran parte de su carrera a la docencia en el área de la expresión vocal, a la gestión de procesos de formación, programas educativos y de investigación ligados a las artes escénicas. Directora del área de formación e investigación artística de la Fundación Santiago Off, ESCUELA OFF (2012-2023). Como parte del equipo de gestión de La Fulana Teatro y Gestión ha sido parte de la producción y ejecución del programa de fortalecimiento a organizaciones culturales Red Interregional de Extensión Santiago Off, apoyando la circulación de contenidos artísticos y formativos todo Chile. Como parte del directorio de la Fundación Santiago Off, ha realizado visitas a diversas plataformas de artes escénicas como apoyo a la difusión e internacionalización de las artes escénicas chilenas en Colombia, Ecuador, Brasil, Argen9na, Perú, España y Portugal.
Lola Torrealba Millar (Santiago OFF Chile) has a degree in the arts, is an actress, teacher, and cultural manager. She has dedicated a large part of her career to teaching in the area of vocal expression, to the management of training processes, educational and research programs linked to the performing arts. Director of the area of artistic training and research of the Santiago Off Foundation, ESCUELA OFF (2012-2023). As part of the management team of La Fulana Teatro y Gestión, she has been part of the production and execution of the program to strengthen cultural organizations, the Santiago Off Interregional Extension Network, supporting the circulation of artistic and educational content throughout Chile. As part of the board of directors of the Santiago Off Foundation, she has made visits to various performing arts platforms to support the dissemination and internationalization of Chilean performing arts in Colombia, Ecuador, Brazil, Argentina, Peru, Spain, and Portugal.
Ruben Perez Castellano
(Canarias, Spain) es profesor superior de Música y Máster en Gestión Cultural por la Universidad de Barcelona. En su etapa inicial profesional, coordinó y dirigió la Banda Juvenil de Música de la Villa de Firgas; fue director del Departamento de Formación de la Orquesta Filarmónica de Gran Canaria y ha sido profesor y Jefe de Estudios en el Conservatorio Profesional de Música de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Coordinó proyectos culturales como el Festival de Música Religiosa de Canarias y el Festival Internacional Bach. En esta última etapa (2019-2023) ha sido Director General de Cultura del Gobierno de Canarias impulsando la participación activa en el posicionamiento de la Cultura y el Patrimonio Cultural en la Agenda Canaria de Desarrollo Sostenible 2030. Actualmente coordina el área de cultura del Ayuntamiento de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria
Ruben Perez Castellano (Canarias, Spain) is a professor of Music and holds a Master’s degree in Cultural Management from the University of Barcelona. In his initial professional stage, he coordinated and directed the Youth Music Band of the Villa de Firgas; he was director of the Training Department of the Gran Canaria Philharmonic Orchestra and has been a professor and Head of Studies at the Professional Music Conservatory of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. He coordinated cultural projects such as the Canary Islands Religious Music Festival and the International Bach Festival. In this last stage (20192023) he has been General Director of Culture of the Government of the Canary Islands, promoting active participation in the positioning of Culture and Cultural Heritage in the Canary Islands Agenda for Sustainable Development 2030. He currently coordinates the cultural area of the Las Palmas de Gran Canaria City Council.
Jorge Zabaraín
(Brujala Colombia) es director de Teatro. Estudió literatura en la Pontificia Universidad Javeriana de Bogotá y se especializó en diseño de iluminación de teatro lírico y museos en la Escuela “Estética de la Luz” y pasantía en el Teatro Colón de Buenos Aires bajo la tutela del maestro Mauricio Rinaldi. Incursionó en la docencia en Teatro y Literatura en el “Gimnasio Moderno” de Bogotá y dirigió el Festival de Teatro “Agustín Nieto Caballero” que organiza esta institución. Desde el 2007 es director del Teatro La Concha, en la ciudad de Cali, en donde tiene su grupo de Teatro. Fundó en 2012 el Festival “Brújula al Sur” concebido para promover las manifestaciones escénicas que abdican de lo canónico en favor de nuevas creaciones. Ha dirigido desde 1999 hasta 2024 un considerable repertorio teatral y ha trabajado con maestros de la actuación como Iván Montoya, Vicky Hernández, Carmenza Gomez, Sergio Gómez, Marleyda Soto, Lisimaco Núñez, entre otros. Ha incursionado en la dramaturgia formándose con los maestros Mauricio Kartún, Ariel Barchilón y Tania Cárdenas.
Jorge Zabaraín (Brujala Colombia) is a theater director. He has ventured into playwriting, training with the masters Mauricio Kartún, Ariel Barchilón and Tania Cárdenas.
