about me
I’m a young architect, graduated at University of Sassari (DADU). During my experiences, both in class and internship jobs, I developed a strong interest in visual communication, infographics, universal design and sustainable architecture.
I completed my master degree in Architecture with a thesis about Augmented Reality as a communication tool for cultural heritage as I am always interested in the development of new technologies in the field of graphic design.

augmented reality and cultural heritage
Invidual Master Degree Thesis
Year: 2023
Thesis advisor: Prof. Enrico Cicalò, Prof. Michele Valentino
The walls of the Alhambra (Granada, Spain), dense with intricate decorations, narrate a complexity that is often difficult to comprehend at first glance. The aim of the project is to provide a new communication tool (Augmented Reality) to be able to read and interact with the Nasrid Palaces. The decorations, natural, geometric and epigraphic, are narrated and analysed individually within the
video, also showing the original colouring of the façade.
In order to make the information more accessible, even to visitors who are not comfortable with electronic devices, the collected documentation is also displayed on a panel. In the central part of the board is a representation of the Comares façade, which, like the actual façade, serves as a target for the AR video.

Invidual Bachelor Degree Thesis
Year: 2020
Thesis advisor: Prof. Enrico Cicalò
The goal of this work is to study a succesful way of comunication for cultural heritage, particularly within the archeological parks. This project starts by making a digital drawing of the mosaics floors of the ancient city of Nora (CA) and develops through the design of different panels that explains the history of the site.
The different kinds of signage are there to meet the different needs of the visitor: we’ll have a directional one, a information one (at the gate of the park, explaning the general meaning
of visit) and a identifying one (near every ancient building and every mosaic floor).
The project follows the concept of universal design, having all writings in italian, english and braille, all drawing embossed and a wooden path that facilitates the visit to people with disabilities.
Installing a more comprehensible wayfinding system, the visitor can fully understand the meaning of the ground it’s standing on and can make the most of its stay.

Telling the story of sardinian jewelry
Subject: Representation and communica
tion of cultural heritage
Year: 2021
Teacher: Prof. Enrico Cicalò
The project “filigrana” (filigree) aims to preserve and enhance the tradition of jewelry in Sardinia, creating a network of goldsmith workshops that includes the whole island. The idea of giving an overall visual identity to the Sardinian goldsmith tradition will allow a more effective and productive communication of the product, without losing the significant differences between the numerous categories of jewelry. The artisans who are part of the pro-
gram will also be advertised through the design of a wandering exhibition in different centers of Sardinia. The exhibition aims to explain to the visitor the complexity of this tradition through photographs, descriptions and graphic representations. The name of the project comes from one the most used techniques in the sector, which consists in rolling a gold thread on itself, represented in the logo as the circle.

The aim of this project is to make Fertilia (Sassari, Italy) an example of sustainable, innovative and future-oriented city. The initiative brings together the agricultural villages in the surrounding area through a new network of sustainable mobility, taking the waste from agriculture for the production of biomass energy Fertilia will be the heart of the project, bringing new work and study oppor-
tunities in the energy center and in the research laboratories. It will also restart the economy of the area, through the accomodations for workers and development tourists. This building will hold different types of housing (according to the duration of the stay), co-working spaces, gathering spaces, a restaurant/canteen and a public park behind the building.

The plan started with a detailed analysis of the demographics of Sants (a district in Barcelona) and the facilities that stood near the working site. The facility takes place in a empty area in front of a play ground and it’s well connected to the city centre by bus and subway.
The building holds a restaurant (that uses products from the market above it), a library (with studying area, internet points and a kid zone), a conferen-
ce room and the market itself. There is also an underground floor, wich you can access to through a ramp, where you can find the warehouse and the parking lot for the workers. The construction it’s also provided with a spacious terrace covered by an intricated roof. The roof, consisting in a braid of triangles, connects the new building with the ground and it also covers the restaurant located in the first floor.
