personal project for a children book
“When the Giants came” describes the story of Caterina, a child that has never been a real child/ has never behaved as a child: a serious one, she did not like playing, and would feel at ease only with strict rules and routines. But one day from the sea came the Giants, and Caterina’s life was upset. Giants are clumsy, palyful, enduring children, not at all prone to obey the rules. Matching these different ways of being teaches Caterina to look at the world with new eyes, to start enjoying, laughing and letting go.
