Seeking a position with a dynamic organization, where I can learn as well as contribute to the growth of the Organization with my ability and management skills. A versatile, creative position in a progressive design firm/school that provides a positive work environment, which appreciates new ideas and believes that work, can be fun.

· Starting with the honing of my interior designing skills , I have assisted a couple of interior designers and architects for projects like spa, dessert boutiques and residential projects.

· The experience continues with the work of a design consultant with a defense contractor and designing a few office and commercial projects placed at Sena Bhawan, A-block hutments at Rashtrapati bhawan , During which I was offered to be a visiting faculty in the same institute where I had studied - Spèctrum institute of Design. The interior journey continues to more facets in residential, commercial, farmhouse, cafeteria and pent house designing. Served as an interior design consultant for an apparel brand down south for almost 5 showrooms and more in VIZAG.

AT PRESENT, I AM CO-FOUNDER AND DIRECTOR AT TAILORED DWELLINGS , A DEDICATED COMPANY FOR INTERIOR AND TURNKEY SOLUTION (BIO IN NEXT SLIDE) OFFERING INTERIOR STYLING, DESIGNING CONSULTANCY , VAASTU CONSULTANCY AND TURNEKY SOLUTIONS.

A journey started with by me and my husband , a Civil engineer by profession with an experience of 17 years in this field.

· Gaining an experience into the new world of being a faculty for interiors , I was yet again presented with an opportunity to be an ASSISTANT PROFESSOR IN APEEJAY STYA UNIVERSITY ,SOHNA ROAD WHICH INCLUDED TEACHING BACHELORS AND MASTERS STUDENT OF INTERIOR DESIGNING; I GOT A CHANCE TO TEACH VARIOUS DIFFERENT MODULES FROM DESIGN STÜDÌO TO MODEL MAKING TO THESIS PROJECTS TO MATERIALS TO PROFESSIONAL STUDIES. The experience had a remarkable Print on my career and my time with the students had instigated a zeal to explore more of my credentials.

· PRESENTLY , I AM ALSO SERVING AS VISITING FACULTY IN PEARL ACADEMY OF FASHION ,DELHI SOUTH AND WEST CAMPUS; where in I have got opportunities to teach POST GRADUATE CERTIFICATE course for students thriving for a career in the field of Styling for Interiors and Interior Decor. The modules taught comprises of all technical modules in each semester in the one year course for styling and all modules such as styling for residential, styling for hospitality, styling for exhibition, HISTORY OF FURNTURE DESIGN, ART MOVEMENTS, MATERIALS -HARD GOODS and technical drawings in space planning modules in Interior Decoration course for SOD, Evening course at Pearl ,co-Hort 2015-2016. CO-ordinate and assisted LIVE DISPLAYS andINSTALLATIONS with students and other team members at FOAID, FASHION WEEK and IN-HOUSE events like PEARL PORTFOLIO.

· Overall , within the span of 14+ years in teaching interiors and working as a Våästü and color consultant , I can admit that the journey has been really scintillating and yearn to achieve much much more with all the credibility and hard work enthralled upon me.

BEYOND TEACHING DESIGN - TAILORED DWELLINGS

Having work experience of around 9 years; I have always been looking for an opportunity where I could put my creative, innovative and technical design skills in to practicality which I have harnessed, inculcated and groomed over the last few years during the course of my education and professional experience-- TAILORED DWELLINGS is the outcome of all the brainstorming.

· Currently the design consultant of an interior designing consultancy AND turnkey firm

· Working as a freelance INTERIOR DESIGNER ; SCIENTIFIC VAASTU CONSULTANCY & COLOR CONSULTANT.

· Assisted an interior designer for a commercial , residential, office ,hospitality , spa and beauty salon projects.

· Handled enormous office projects by own self up to the designing ,boq stage and execution (supervision) stage.

· Worked as Head Designer in a leading fountain and landscaping company. Supervised sites for landscaping and fountain work.

· Led a company as the HEAD INTERIOR DESIGNER and SCIENTIFIC VAASTU CONSUTANT successfully with residential and commercial projects ranging from scratch to finish work.

· Free lanced for high end client, successfully done and completed residential and farmhouse project for R.K.GROUP (owner of COMESUM RESTAURANTS).

· Designing and renovating offices for NAVY officers at SENA BHAWAN, RASHTRAPATI BHAWAN , NAVY HEADQUARTERS, and CHANAKYA BHAWAN (in association with Defence contractors)

Adjunct Professor (visiting faculty) - Teaching Bachelors and Masters in Interior Designing .The following courses were taken by me.

· Dealing with subjects like Design studio , Design workshop, Market research , Technical Theory and History in B.A. in RESIDENCE DESIGN.

· Teaching, guiding and mentoring thesis, dissertation, construction workshop and studio subjects in M.A in Residence Design.

· Maintaining proper attendance records, assignment and assessment records of all terms exams.

· Preparing question papers along with answer scripts (for faculty.)

· Organizing events like photo booth, creating multi-functional furniture pieces, clash of the titans and fashion show for university fest.

· Special course teaching to French students serving a semester in the university as part of student exchange programmers.
