TAG Local is an online platform for travelers visiting Hong Kong. The concept of TAG Local is for visitors to meet locals Hong Kongers, based on location and hobbies of locals and visitors. TAG Local also provides different suggested travel routes within Hong Kong for users with different hobbies to travel together. The in-app conversation allows visitors and locals to communicate with each other without showing their personal contact details.

Problems that TAG Local can Solve

Nowadays, more and more visitors are coming to Hong Kong for various reaso them come to Hong Kong for vacation. Persona Study James is a tourist from the United States. He comes to Hong Kong for his graduation vacations.

James want to meet some locals in his trip. He wants to know more about the cultures of Hong Kong, and someone who is able to take him to some local places.

James also is not so confident about his Hong Kong trip due to the fact that he is unable to speak Cantonese. He would like to have someone to take him to some places.

Pete is born and raised in Hong Kong.

All of his friends are from Hong Kong and he wants to meet someone of a different culture.

Pete wants to meet a tourist and show them the Hong Kong that he likes. Also, He wants someone to show him around when he is in another country.

Pete always wants to meet with some foreigner to practice English, also he is unable to find the people who has similar interest as him.

M+ ARt is an concept developed in M+ Hakathon. The main idea for M+ARt is to enhance the experience for the visitors by solving the common problems when people were visiting museums. The technology of AR is able to help the visitor by showing the information about the art piece. Other than that, M+ collects data and informations by using the built-in chatbot to directly communicate with the visitor. At the end of the visit, a data art for the visitors will be generate to be shared in social medias to promote M+.

This model tank portfolio demonstrates my CAD drawing and toy design skills. I call this design CR-49 Facle.

The “CR” stands for crush rover. While 49 is my lucky number.

Finally, The word “Facle” is the Italian word of a scythe, depicting fear and terror.

Manufacturing and Prototyping

CR- 49 Facle is a model kit that designed for hobby collectors with different m with injection molded with ABS. The gear will be injection modeled with POM a The details of the model will be tempo printed on.

During the prototype process, I used multiple rapid prototyping methods,incl I painted the base coat with gray primer, then I used enamel paint to paint it details, and at the end, I shielded it with a Matt finish clear coat.

This portfolio is a demonstration of my CAD modeling, rapid prototyping, air brushing and dry brushing skills.

DOTA2 Wooden Axe Cup Trophy is for the DOTA2 e-sports event by DOTA2 HK in 2018. DOTA2 HK is formed with very passionate Dota2 gamers in Hong Kong, and the Wooden Axe Cup is the first DOTA2 e-sports event organized by them. The wooden axe on the trophy stand is an item from DOTA2, called the quelling blade. The quelling blade is one of the most popular item for Dota2 beginners. As DOTA2 HK is a beginner in the e-sports industry.

Fabrication Method

To make the DOTA2 Axe, I use multiple technique. At the beginning of making t model. After finishing the CAD model, I used FDM to print out the axe. At the finishing for the axe’s vintage look. For the base, I laser cutted it with plywood the pattern of the wood.
