Pronounced

The origins of Zyliss take us back to the Swiss town of Lyss, near Bern, Switzerland. Founded in 1951 by trained bicycle mechanic Karl Zysset (1907-1988), inventor of the Garlic Press and Salad Spinner, the brand name is an amalgamation of the founder’s surname and the town of Lyss, where the first factory was established.

About our mill mechanisms

All of our premium pepper mills feature our patented carbon steel Precision+ mechanism, which was developed in conjunction with Nottingham University’s Aroma Laboratory. Representing a new level of performance, our Precision+ mechanism is able to deliver more pepper per turn and is scientifically proven to release more flavor than ever before.

All of our premium salt mills feature a unique sharp ceramic mechanism which prevents corrosion over time unlike other salt mills that feature a metal mechanism. Our salt mills are intended for use with dry salt crystals only.

The designs of our mill mechanisms were created in-house by Cole & Mason and are IP protected to ensure no imitations. Furthermore, they are confidently supported by our Lifetime Guarantee.

About our grind select mills

Our premium range of grind select mills gives the cook complete control with 6 pre-set grind levels for pepper and 3 pre-set grind levels for salt, to provide precise adjustment of the grind from fine to coarse. Select a fine grind for a big punch in sauces or soups or effortlessly switch to a more coarse grind for a more subtle but longer lasting taste, great for salads or steaks.

RETURNS

Returns will not be accepted without prior authorization from DKB Household USA. Returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee. Submit inquiries to orders@dkbrands.us.

WARRANTY

COLE & MASON guarantees the mechanism in all precision mills to be free from defects for LIFE.

ZYLISS guarantees all products to be free from defects in material and workmanship for 5 years on manual appliances, and 2 years on battery operated appliances, from the date of purchase.

ADHOC guarantees all products for 2 years.

KEN HOM guarantees Carbon Steel woks for 10 years and Non-Stick Carbon Steel woks for 2 years and 5 years on Non-Stick Aluminum works.

These warranties do not cover damage caused by accident, misuse, abuse, commercial use or normal wear and tear.
