SUSTAINABLE RESIDENCE DESIGN
This is the South- East part of the residence which shows the Semi Basement floor is partially inserted inside the landscape. The relationship between the Building and the beautiful terrain makes the place natural without disturbing the Ecosystem. Existing trees are also retained in the South- West part. To reduce the thermal gain in summer, the building is nurtured by ample vegetation and landscape which also generates an Ecosystem.

SITE PREPARATION
The nature of the slope is a strong conditioning factor for the design and building. Seeking to create a balance of caring for the environmental value of the site is also mandatory.
Cut+ Fill
Cutting out the upper soil part and filling the lower void to create a suitable new flat surface for the building as well as the landscape.
The main entrance to the house is raised, which allows finding a sense of grand feeling on the ground level, bridging the gap plus the elevation difference with the courtyard landscape will create a beautiful visual connection with the outside mother nature.
CONCEPTUAL DIAGRAM
A low, dim, and Semi- Basement space leads to the ground floor, with great entrances of natural light and transparencies obtained in the front that allow continuous visuals towards the patio. On the ground floor common use programs are developed, as well as the service areas. The dining room develops in relation to an integrated kitchen. On the first floor, we can find programs of more private.

The new flat surface
This volume is strategically shifed toward the East so that the west side façade conveys a sense of privacy when viewed from the street. A sunken courtyard at the entrance framed by concrete walls provides lateral and vertical separation between vehicular movement and guest arrival. A naturally planted garden courtyard opens up toward the sky in a double-height atrium to bring in filtered south light to the interior spaces below; A sheltered outdoor living room immediately next to the garden provides the setting for multi-seasonal activities. A fully glazed Spaces allows agreat visual connection to the courtyard, and garden.

The building consists of two main blocks, the administrative office block, and the public block. Giving the office chamber a way along the site boundary by bending the block to the inside so that it can get its own definition.
Separate the office block from the public zone to maximize the privacy for the office work environment.
The building consists of three main different parts, the administrative office part, auditorium, public tower, and public library. There is also linear access which passes throughout the site and separates both building blocks.
To create a welcoming space it is open and inviting to both visitors and passers-by, with a great view of the garden from the inside and into the building from the outside. The roof of the public library is a large staircase with steps furnished with seating pads that invite people to sit down for short breaks, informal meetings, and social interaction between staff and guests.
The façades consist of large glass sections that are rhythmically divided by vertical copper-plated slats. By shaping the building in a faceted and angled way, the employees are given multiple workplace opportunities with varied views and spatial contexts.
To show all sovereign power resides in the Nations, Nationalities and People of Ethiopia i want to attach a cone shaped public tower on the office block corner without disturbing the office work environment so that the public can control the overall site.

REHABILITATING THE HOMELESS 03
This facility, a residential, occupational, and healthcare center for persons with psychological, somatic, or social issues or issues arising from addiction, aims to offer a contained, structured environment while they prepare for their reintegration into the community. The project gathers the various functions under one roof, the dissected composition of volumes identifying the various sectors. Forming a large pedestal, the ground floor houses the common functions on either side of the central patio, the heart of the facility around which articulate the reception, dining and recreational spaces – a place for socializing that is open and articulate.
