The minimum value of each scholarship is £10,000, which goes towards tuition fees. GREAT Scholarships are offered for one-year master’s degrees in a range of subjects. Applicants can search for the GREAT scholarships available on the Study UK website, and go on to apply through the university itself. Application deadlines vary by university, so applicants should check with their chosen university when they need to apply by. The Study UK campaign is offering GREAT scholarships from 53 UK universities to students from 18 countries for the 2022-23 academic year. The scholarships are funded by the British Council, the GREAT Britain campaign and the participating UK higher education institutions. Students are eligible to apply for a GREAT scholarship if they’re a citizen of Bangladesh, Brunei, China, Egypt, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Malaysia, Mexico, Nepal, Nigeria, Pakistan, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Turkey or Vietnam, and hold an undergraduate degree that enables them to gain entry onto a postgraduate programme at a UK university. They must be able to meet the academic and English language requirements of their chosen university.
