Colorectal Cancer is the

most common diagnosed cancer in the United States.
Colorectal Cancer is the 2nd most common cause of cancer death.
You should begin screening earlier if you have a personal or family history of colorectal cancer, polyps, rectal bleeding or long standing inflammatory bowel disease such as Ulcerative colitis or Crohn’s. Other conditions may warrant earlier screening too and are best discussed with your physician.
Colonoscopy is the visual examination of the large intestine using a light, flexible endoscope. To obtain the full benefits of the exam the colon must be clean and free of stool. The patient receives instructions on how to do this. It involves drinking a solution which flushes the colon clean or taking laxatives and enemas. Usually the patient drinks only clear liquids and no food for the day before the exam.
Colonoscopy is usually performed on an outpatient basis. The patient is sedated, the endoscope is inserted through the anus and moved gently around the bends of the colon. If a polyp is encountered, a thin wire snare is used to lasso it. It is then painlessly removed.

Other tests can be performed during colonoscopy, including biopsy to obtain a small tissue specimen for microscopic analysis. The procedure typically takes less than 30 minutes and is seldom remembered by the sedated patient. The patient is then taken to recovery area where the patient awakens. The patient may have some mild cramping or pressure similar to gas pains.
results & benefits After the exam, the physician explains the findings to the patient or the care partner. If a polyp has been removed, the results are usually available in 3-7 days. The colonoscopy enables the removal of polyps (small, grapelike growths on the lining of the colon). Polys usually cause no symptoms and grow over time. If they are removed, cancer is likely prevented from developing in these areas. If the physician does remove polyps, he will make recommendations on when the patient should undergo another colonoscopy.

OSE Surgery Center is an outpatient surgery center. We decided on blue as the main color. We want to show that they were loyal, trustworthy, strong and confident in what they do. We wanted to keep the brand simple and clean. The icons were defined as “flat icon”, however it gave a 3D look to it. These type of icons give life to the brand, it’s not the same one color design that other brands use. It was important to us and the client that they we presented as a trustworthy, family brand.

WHO WE ARE MVP Training LLC is a sports performance company specializing in athlete and team conditioning for all sports. Training is provided in two methods: mobile method and facility method. The mobile strength and conditioning method is available to large groups or teams on location. This method allows for more individualized instruction and meets at the MVP Training facility. MVP Training is owned and operated by Brooks Barron and his wife, Tamra. The company was founded in 2011 when Brooks recognized the need for educated, trained and certified coaches working with athletes and teams in the weight room. MVP Training has expanded since its inauguration in 2011, having added many schools and young athletes to the training regime. Brooks and Tamra’s passion for building better, healthy athletes has laid the foundation for what MVP Training is today.
WHAT WE ARE Over 50% of injuries in youth athletics are preventable with the right type of training. Each year, this number increases by 3-5%. MVP Training is dedicated to helping young athletes create better movement patterns to sustain a long and healthy life. The MVP Training model is what makes this company unique. Athletes are first screened and tested to determine strengths and weaknesses. The results are used to build movement patterns that strengthen weaker areas and continue to build stronger areas. I’m Chelsea Knight. I currently work at Out There Creative as a full time Graphic Designer, and Photographer. Out There has also helped me grow by giving me the opportunity to learn web development. Im lucky enough to love what I do and I am always seeking the chance to expand my knowledge. I enjoy being able to create something new and different everyday. I commit to my projects and will do whatever I can to meet the client’s needs. Im very passionate about my life and career and love to express that through my work. I love keeping things simple and classy. One of my favorite things is the reaction from a client when they are completely happy, of course that is my ultimate goal. Along with learning, I enjoy photography, zentangle art, puppies, music and the show Friends (it’s my favorite). I do have a few flaws. Im not the best speller (Google and spell check are my best friends) and I have stage fright. Presenting to a client can make me uneasy but this is something I am consistently working to overcome. I am a recent graduate, May 2014, and I was blessed to find a job in my field so quickly. Even though I have only been working in the field for a year, I have learned so much.
