When Driftworks laid their experienced hands on the Nissan Silvia, a canvas already beloved by car enthusiasts and drifters worldwide, the result was nothing short of automotive artistry. The now iconic yellow Nissan Silvia by Driftworks isn't just a car; it's a rolling testament to what happens when limitless creativity meets mechanical prowess.

The heart of this beast is the venerable SR20DET engine, but not as you know it. Driftworks took this already potent powerplant and pushed it into uncharted territories of performance with a suite of top-tier modifications The engine now breathes through a Borg Warner EFR 7074 T4 turbo, which could very well be considered overkill if it weren't so brilliantly engineered to deliver power as smoothly as it does forcefully. Supporting this monstrous turbo are Turbosmart wastegates and a Walton Motorsports manifold, ensuring that the engine's exhaust flows with minimal backpressure and maximum efficiency.

To handle the increased airflow, a Greddy plenum sits atop the engine, paired with HKS 1000cc injectors and fuel rail, supplying a deluge of fuel to match the copious amounts of air being shoved into the combustion chambers The orchestration of this symphony of power is managed by a Link G4 ECU, a choice that showcases Driftworks' commitment to precision and control over the raw force they've unleashed

Turning attention to the drivetrain, the Silvia parts ways with tradition, featuring a BMW E39 5speed diesel gearbox This unconventional choice is a nod to Driftworks' innovative approach, facilitated by an ABC clutch and adapter kit, which meshes seamlessly with a Kaaz LSD housed within a Skyline GTSt case. This setup not only enhances the car ' s durability under harsh driving conditions but also its responsiveness and agility during high-intensity drifts

The exterior is a statement piece, with Vertex Ridge Aero kit, custom smoothed front fenders, and extensively modified rear fenders that are not only functional, allowing for greater wheel travel and clearance but also visually striking, enhancing the vehicle's aggressive stance

Driftworks Cobra seats anchor the interior both visually and functionally, providing necessary support during high G maneuvers A Driftworks Nardi steering wheel and harnesses remind you that this car is built for performance first, with a flocked dash and door cards that speak to a racer ' s no-frills aesthetic
