Letter from the Editors

Hello guys, gals, and nonbinary pals,

Welcome to the fifth issue of Grater Expectations!

We hope you enjoy reading it as much as we enjoyed making it. When we first joined The Cheese Grater as zine editors, we didn’t know what to expect. Straddling three different time zones and two contrasting programs, this wasn’t going to be easy. Or at least we thought.

Before we knew it, ideas were flowing. Bonding over zoom calls made us marvel at the unprecedented manner through which we were elected or even stumbled across The Cheese Grater magazine. Soon, the theme ‘Unforeseen’ was realised. Wonderful contributors started pitching in with submissions full of more talent than we probably have in our collective pinky toes.

Thank you so unbelievably much for helping us create this issue of Grater Expectations. It would not exist without each and every one of you and your creativity, your time, and your little feminist hearts.
