All Star Cheerleading is one of the fastest growing sports in the country and here at CheerForce, we pride ourselves as being leaders in the industry. We appreciate your interest in CheerForce for your child's competitive cheerleading experience.

If you are new to our program, we welcome your family and if you are returning, we welcome you back! We are excited to get our next season underway and to help your athlete achieve his/her goals.

Now entering our 21st season, we are thrilled to start the process of building successful competitive teams with all of our talented athletes. While the 2020-2021 season will look slightly different than previous seasons given the effects of the Covid-19 virus we are confident that through continued hard work and commitment, the 2020-2021 season will once again be another strong competitive year. Our professionally trained and certified cheer and tumbling coaches are prepared and excited to make each athlete's experience at CheerForce as positive as possible while keeping health and safety as an utmost priority.

The family atmosphere we provide at CheerForce is one of mutual trust home. We will motivate and inspire every athlete to be the best they can puts our athletes in a position to attain their personal and team goals by skills. We are confident that the CheerForce family will become a part of

At CheerForce, we have a team for absolutely EVERYONE. With a wide variety of age groups and skill levels available, we take extra care to properly assign our athletes to teams which will ensure the best possible success for each individual and ultimately each team, and thereby provide the most rewarding and positive experience. You will recieve an email with your athlete’s assessment results which will include their current age group and level.

We encourage all new members to book your individual 15 minute private assessment June 1-5, 2020. Following the payment of either the registration fee (new members) or early bird fee (returning members), all committed athletes to our program for the 2020-2021 season will recieve 3 small group complementary placement prep sessions from June 8-25, 2020.

These training sessions will be run while practicing safe social distancing measures. Placment of athletes onto teams will occur at the end of this period and teams will be built based on their progress. We cannot wait to get started with you all and look forward to getting back into the gym!

CheerForce will be offering two teams with the opportunity to participate in additional competitions to earn a bid to the Summit Varsity All Star Cheerleading Championship in Orlando Florida. This is will be a crossover opportunity only and the division and level of each team will be determined following our Summit selection process. Athletes must be born between January 2, 2002 to December 31, 2011 to participate. Placement onto these teams will take place at a later date when the details of our season are confirmed.

We provide a wide variety of specialty programs to challenge and improve your athlete’s skill set. GROUP GROUP TUMBLING TUMBLING Group tumbling classes range between 3-8 athletes per class for one hour. These classes are offered seasonally with approximately 7-13 classes per session. The classes are structured around specific skills according to athletes' abilities and experience.

LEVEL 1 - Handstands, roundoffs, rolls, front and back walkovers. These classes have a strong focus on

tumbling fundamentals and conditioning.

LEVEL 2 - Standing back handsprings, back walkover back handsprings, roundoff handspring, series standing handsprings, specialty passes and more. These classes cover the fundamentals of learning to flip. Athletes interested in taking Level 2 classes should already have mastered their front and back walkovers.

LEVEL 3 - Series back handsprings, roundoff tucks, roundoff handspring tucks and more. This class uses a wide variety of drills to introduce free flipping. Athletes interested in taking Level 3 classes should already have mastered their standing handspring, back walkover back handspring, roundoff back handspring, and specialty passes to handspring.

LEVEL 4/5 - Standing tucks, layouts, fulls and more! These classes cover the fundamentals of the layout and twisting positions working toward level 4 and 5 tumbling skills. Athletes interested in taking Level 4/5 classes should already have mastered their series back handsprings, roundoff back tuck, roundoff back handspring back tuck, punch fronts and specialty passes to tuck.

PRIVATE TUMBLING Our private tumbling sessions are geared towards athletes that want individual attention in a half hour private 1:1 or semi private 2:1 class. NEW - our staff have been categorized and priced according to experience and availability. These classes are charged per each sessions (ex. 8-12 classes in a session) and are available for sign up on our website.

TOPPING PRIVATES AND GROUP CLASSES We currently offer all girl group topping classes for our athletes interested in advancing their skills in a topping position. These classes focus heavily on core body strength, flexibility and balance. Participating athletes must be a flyer on their assigned CheerForce team. These classes are charged per each sessions (ex.

8-12 classes in a session) and are available for sign up on our website.

Please use this calendar as a guide for our 2020-2021 season. It is very important when coordinating a large program of families that our members are consistently informed of our important dates, gym closures and our attendance policy.

Due to the nature of our sport being highly team oriented, all team practices, choreography and competitions are considered mandatory.

CheerForce implements black out weeks (four practices) prior to any upcoming competitions. During these weeks, if your athlete’s absence from practice, could result in changes to your athlete’s role in the routine or your athlete not participating in the competition. It will be up to our coaches’ discretion to determine necessary actions to benefit the team. Please do your best to consider our season schedule when planning family vacations and time away.

In the event of an absence, planned or unforeseen, please make sure to connect with a coach prior to team practices so they can make necessary arrangments for the team to practice efficiently.

Please note that we do not run tumbling sessions on competition weekends or gym closures. A detailed schedule can be found on our website or through our sign up portal.

FORMS & FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITIES 1. All athletes/parents are to sign the CheerForce Waiver Form at the beginning of each season. Once a waiver form has been signed, it is valid for all/any programs within CheerForce for the season indicated.

2. Contact information must be completed before any athlete participates in any program.

3. Separate Waiver Forms from competition organizations are also required. All forms need to be completed and returned to CheerForce as requested.

4. Payment plans are available for the Competitive Cheer program within CheerForce. All other programs must be paid in full prior to participation.

5. All accounts must be in good standing in order for athletes to participate.

6. Monthly payments for the Competitive Cheer program will be taken on the 1st of each month. If payments are declined, they will be tried again 3 days later. If it is declined again, a $20 fee will be accrued.

7. NSF cheques will sustain a surcharge of $25, plus the amount of the original cheque.

8. If more than 2 cheques are returned to CheerForce NSF, then any following payments must be submitted in the form of a certified cheque or cash.

9. All payments are non-refundable. CheerForce offers a 2 week full money back guarantee if you don’t absolutely love our competitive team program.

CHEERFORCE FORMS & WAIVERS All members MUST have the following forms submitted to Administration prior to participating in practice.

1. Athlete Contact information Form 2. Waiver Form and Release 3. CheerForce Policies & Procedures 4. Pre-authorized Payment Information 5. Pre-authorized Travel Payment Information (if applicable) GENERAL RULES 1. CheerForce Allstars, and all logos associated with CheerForce are registered trademarks of CheerForce Allstars and therefore cannot be duplicated for personal use or any unauthorized use. Permission by the owners must be granted to display logos in any manner.

2. The gym area is restricted to athletes and coaches only. No other family member or friend may be in the gym without the expressed permission of an owner or coach.

3. No athletes are permitted in the gym area without a coach.

4. Use of any equipment in the gym area by an athlete must be with coach supervision.

5. No food or drinks are allowed in the gym area. (Exception: water or sports drinks) 6. Cubbies are provided to athletes for their belongings during practice time. Athletes are discouraged from bringing any valuable items to the gym. CheerForce is not responsible for any lost/stolen items.

CODE OF CONDUCT POLICY - ATHLETES 1. Athletes must be committed to behaviour and conduct that will enhance and promote the positive image of CheerForce Allstars and your teammates.

2. Athletes must conduct themselves in the spirit of sporting behaviour in all situations.

3. Athletes will treat others with the utmost respect and dignity.

4. Athletes will abide by the rules of our sport, as set out by the competitions governing body.

5. Athletes will not willfully damage the property of others, which would include, but not limited to: a. All CheerForce Training Centre property or equipment b. Competition or CheerForce Event Facility sites c. Hotels d. Transportation vehicles 6. Athletes will not consume or transport alcohol, illegal or illicit drugs, vape tobacco or marijuana of any kind at a CheerForce event, trip or practice.

7. Athletes who decide to keep a Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, Instagram or any other online Social Network profile must adhere to the following standards: a. NO photos of CheerForce athletes wearing CheerForce clothing, with vaping devices, alcohol, or drugs, appearing under the influence. b. NO content that consists of Discriminatory, Harassing and Abusive behaviour or any form of Bullying, as determined by the sole discretion of the CheerForce Directors and coaching staff. c. No foul, vulgar, profane, or obscene language is permitted, as determined by the sole discretion of the CheerForce Directors and coaching staff. d. It is highly recommended that CheerForce members place a privacy block on their pages, therefore limiting their profiles and photo’s to approved friends only.

8. All concerns relating to discrimination, harassment, abuse and substance abuse that are in breach of CheerForce Allstars Policies will be subject to a full range of disciplinary action, which may include removal from the program. It WILL include parental notification (if under the age of 18) and may include legal action.

CODE OF CONDUCT POLICY - PARENTS 1. Parents are committed to upholding a standard of conduct that reflects positively on ALL CheerForce teams, athletes, coaches, owners & supporters.

2. Parents will conduct themselves in a sportsmanlike manner at all times. Parents shall refrain from gossiping, spreading rumours, or speaking poorly of other athletes, other parents and coaches. The utmost respect should be observed while in the CheerForce facility and parent viewing lounge.

3. Parents will treat all others with the utmost respect and dignity (this includes coaches, CF members, rival team members, parents and officials).

4. Parents are responsible for any siblings present while waiting for their CheerForce athlete during practice.

5. Parents will respect the CheerForce training facility, as it is our home. Please be courteous when waiting in the waiting area and pick up after yourself.

6. Parents will respect that there are NO parents, sisters, brothers or friends allowed in the gym at any time, unless directed by the Head Coach.

7. Parents are financially responsible for all costs associated with your child’s involvement with becoming a CheerForce Athlete. This does not include athletes over the age of 18.

ATTENDANCE POLICY 1. Attendance for practices and competitions are MANDATORY. CheerForce will be implementing black out weeks. During these weeks, if your athlete is absent from practice, this could result in changes to your athlete’s role in the routine or your athlete not participating in the upcoming competition. It will be up to our coaches’ discretion to determine necessary actions to benefit the team. The following exceptions can be made and a coach must be notified. a. Injury: Injured CheerForce athletes are required to attend all practices and competitions while in recovery mode. They will be expected to visually learn the routine elements. b. Weather: CheerForce practices MAY, from time to time be cancelled due to inclement weather. On days where weather conditions are questionable, CheerForce athletes should check emails and team Facebook groups for directions with respect to practice from their head coach. Team Practices and all other classes cancelled due to inclement weather will not be made up. c. Vacation: Parents are expected to review practice and competition schedules to ensure that planned vacations will not conflict with CheerForce schedules including our Black Out period 2. If you are late to practice due to weather or traffic please inform your head coach prior to practice starting.

If you are consistently late, you will be disciplined which may include the revoking of gym privileges and/or removal from the program.

3. Any CheerForce athlete who has missed two practices or have failed to give written notice to the head coach upon absence will adhere to the discipline deemed necessary by the head coach and owners. The head coach and owners have the authority to remove the athlete from any upcoming event or competition.

4. Attendance is expected by all athletes for every competition. Athletes will be expected to arrive 1.5-2 hours before their team’s performance time at local competitions. Athletes are expected to stay at the competition until the end of their team’s awards ceremony.

This policy applies to ALL athletes in the CheerForce program. Athletes that do not adhere to this attendance policy will be disciplined, which may include revoking of gym privileges, changes in role within their routine, removal from routine for upcoming competition(s) and/or removed from the program, FUNDRAISING POLICY 1. Any fundraising initatives planned by potential Worlds and Summit teams require approval from ownership.

2. All fundraisers need to be submitted in writing with a detailed summary of the planned activities.

3. World’s team fundraisers will be the only teams allowed to publicize and promote within the CF community.

4. All fundraising is considered optional.

CHEERFORCE POLICIES AGREEMENT I have read the Financial Commitment & CheerForce Policies in its entirety and understand its contents.

I understand that being a CheerForce member is a commitment by both the athlete and the parent. As a parent of a CheerForce athlete, I will fully support my child and will encourage them to fulfill their commitment.

I realize that when representing CheerForce, I, as an athlete or parent, must always conduct myself responsibly. I understand the commitment for practices and competitions, and hereby agree to be in attendance as expected. I understand that any athlete or parent that does not abide by the CheerForce policies contained in this agreement, who is consistently negative, or acts in a manner that jeopardizes the name and reputation of the CheerForce program, will be subject to removal.

In addition, I agree to give CheerForce full permission to seek medical attention and/or take any actions deemed necessary to ensure the safety and well being of me/my child and those around them.

I understand that failure to abide by the CheerForce Policies will result in IMMEDIATE removal from the CheerForce Allstars program. It WILL include parental notification (if under the age of 18) and MAY include legal action.

PUBLICITY WAIVER AND RELEASE I/my child, will be participating as a member of CheerForce Allstars, I agree to allow any photos, videos, and/or audio recordings taken of me/my child at any cheerleading event to be used exclusively by CheerForce Allstars for promotional purposes. These mediums may include our website at www.cheerforceallstars.ca, our Facebook page at at facebook.com/CheerForceAllstars, our Twitter account @CF_AllStars and our Instagram account cheerforce.allstars, as well as newspaper articles and press releases.

I also waive and absolve CheerForce Allstars, , the owners, the coaches, advisors, sponsors, parent volunteers, or other volunteers, the staff and/or volunteers of any of the venues in which we practice or perform, or any one or more of them or their executors, administrators, heirs, next of kin, successors or assigns, of and from any and all liability and responsibility.

I understand that each participant is responsible for his or her own personal health, medical, dental, chiropractic, and accident insurance coverage. I, my heirs, executor, and administration, intending to be legally bound, do hereby waive, release, and forever discharge any and all rights and claims for damage which I/my child may have or may hereafter accrue to me/my child against CheerForce Allstars, the owners, the coaches, advisors, sponsors, parent volunteers, or other volunteers, the staff and/or volunteers of any of the venues in which we practice or perform, for any damages which may be sustained or suffered by me/my child in connection with my association with or participation in, or rising out of travel to and/or return from any cheerleading related site or activity affiliated with CheerForce Allstars.
