Clonazepam is a medicine that is used to prevent and treat seizures, panic disorders, and movement disorders. Usually, it is taken by mouth or in the dissolving tablet and its effects begin within one hour and last between 6 and 12 hours. Common side effects are poor coordination, sleepiness, and agitation.
