3. Energy Research Institute, Chulalongkorn University High Efficiency Non-Tracking Solar Collector with Metal-to-Water Contact

Our solar collector is unique in the world and patented. The solar collector can achieve day-long collection efficiency without solar tracking system and can receive diffuse solar irradiation. The solar collector uses a wet metal-to-water contact, which increases the heat transfer capability. The efficiency of our solar collector is higher than a commercial evacuated tube solar collector. This new solar collector is not only suitable for small residential houses but also for process heat applications as in industrial uses.

BIXPO 2015 The principal organization for using research to guide the development of Thailand, and the leader in the development of Thailand’s national research system

Functions

1. Perform functions to comply with the National Research Council and relevant laws.

2. Provide advice on the national research policy and strategy of the country.

3. Offer guidance on the national research budgetary allocation.

4. Monitor and evaluate national research results and administer the management of research based knowledge for national development.

5. Develop standards, provisions and guidelines for promoting and supporting the country’s research, as deserving international standards.

6. Serve as the center of national connection on data and information.

7. Perform other functions as mandated to the office of NRCT or assigned by the Prime Minister or Ministers.

Strategies

1. Formulate the national research policy and expenditure framework with the participation of stakeholders; all involved parties follow this strategy and framework for their implementation.

2. Serve as the central organization for research cooperation among domestic and international organizations.

3. Increase the competency and strength of the National Research Council of Thailand in order to establish an academic balance for sustainable development in economics, society, and public well-being.

4. Oversee an integrated management scheme to promote and support qualitative domestic and international research results and innovations for future use by our country.

5. Promote and encourage research and invention which can be utilized for the country’s development.

According to these functions and strategies, the mission of NRCT is to promote cooperative research work, invention, and innovation among national and international organizations. “Bitgaram International Exposition of the Electric Power Technology 2015” should not be missed by Thai researchers, inventors, and innovators seeking a unique opportunity to showcase their works and share their experiences to a worldwide audience.

by Ambient Pressure Drying Route Silica aerogel is a synthetic nanoporous silica. It is extremely high porous and low density. The interesting properties of silica aerogel are; good thermal insulation, sound attenuation, weight reduction, complete hydrophobicity. It can use as an additive for existing building, industrial, and coating products.

2. Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University Oxide Thermoelectric Power Generation

Thermoelectric oxide can convert heatdirectly to electricity renewable energyand friendly environmental. The CaCO3 was extracted form Cherry Shell raw materials to synthesis of p-Ca3Co4O9 and n-CaMnO3 thermoelectric materials. The low cost device was composed ceramic substrates and copper plate electrodes can be used a good apply with heat source at high temperature. The device was added combustion chamber could generate electricity of direct current and translated to alternating current more than 10 W to charge battery mobile phone or turn on lam or other electronic devices easily to use and bring anywhere.
