PARK SPARKS!

Park Sparks, a series of park activations focusing on the often underutilized parks within neighboring communities.

The primary goal is to bring more neighbors together by engagement, good morale, and show each community that it doesn’t take much to come outside and enjoy time with one another in the simplest form and most common place, your local neighborhood park.

Members of the department’s Special Events team will be on hand with games, food, information and education from numerous City of Chattanooga departments and partners.

The public is encouraged to join each Park Spark for the celebrations, and share their own ideas to activate their local park through ongoing activities, programs or special events. Each event is free

Passes are sold in June and July. They are valid for 12 months. *First time buyers may purchase in month prior and begin using at the time of purchase. Passes are not pro-rated and are non-transferable. City residents are entitled to a 15% discount on all passes.

HALF PRICE ANNUAL PASS

This golf pass entitles the holder to half-price green fees and half-price cart fees. The pass may be used at Brainerd of Brown Acres, Monday through Friday only, excluding holidays. PUBLIC ART

Chattanooga values public art, employing it to help transform its downtown and neighborhoods, bring people together, and celebrate its spirit of creativity. Thanks to the leadership of several forward-thinking mayors, community leaders, and design professionals, Chattanooga has reinvented itself as one of the country’s most livable mid-sized cities.

Outdoor sculpture displays abound including the Bluff View Art District’s River Gallery Sculpture Garden, the Hunter Museum’s outdoor sculpture collection, Sculpture Fields, and the Chattanooga Sculpture Biennial, which attract visitors from around the world. Since the early 1990s, the City, in partnership with the private sector, has completed more than 100 permanent and temporary outdoor public art projects.
