DCPS NUTRITION PROGRAM
The district will continue to serve meals at no cost to all students for the 2024-2025 school year. Every public school in the district will be a part of the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP), which makes school meals available to all students at no cost. Students will need to provide their student ID card and/or student number at the register, but there will be no cost for the regular meal (excluding a la carte items).
Free and reduced-price meal applications are not required and will not be processed this school year.
Offering even more variety with menus that transition seasonally, we continue to provide farm-fresh foods and nutritious, kid-approved meals. Our nutrition standards are based on the USDA school meal pattern regulations, offering items that are low in sodium and fat and rich in whole grains, fresh fruits, and vegetables with a focus on serving local produce.
