Healthier Heroes Behind the Plate
When our associates take good care of themselves, they in turn, can take care of others.

I'm going to eat better, and travel as much as possible!
Our associates often put others ahead of themselves. But in 2022, we’re encouraging them to make their own mental health and wellness their top priority. Through tools like our Nudge associate app and our re-imagined YouFirst program, we are helping to create a work environment that facilitates mindfulness and self-care.

While YouFirst Day is our national program and an annual celebration of “our people behind the plate,” we also help ensure that our associates are taking care of their own personal needs and expressing themselves in healthy ways. Self-care training across our platforms helps, but we also incorporate more personal means of expression to benefit mental health. Recently on our associate app, Nudge, we asked our team members to share what they do for self-care. Here are some of their insights.
Tanya Walker This year, I plan to be more creative. I now have a quiet space of my own to be able to focus and unleash the beast! I also plan to start doing PT again.
