A LETTER FROM THE CHAIRMAN

Charter One Community,

In 2009, my family and I moved to Arizona with big ideas, hopes, and dreams for our future. Among those was creating top-notch charter schools that gave parents and students the school choices they deserved. From this vision and with humble beginnings, American Leadership Academy was established that same year.

Since then, school choice and charter schools have grown in popularity, and as a result, so has the charter management space. At Charter One, we believe our relentless pursuit of excellence sets us apart as a leading education management organization. By closely partnering with families in their children’s education, we are staying true to our commitment to delivering a quality, valuesbased curriculum and a culture that supports the critical lessons that the parents that choose us expect. This includes a traditional education and an emphasis on creating patriotic, civicminded leaders.

As Charter One and its clients continue to grow and realize our mission “In support of the family to provide the best education to as many students as possible in a moral and wholesome environment”, we are proud to publish our first annual report that highlights some of our biggest accomplishments from 2021 to 2022. To our partners, staff, and the families we serve, we appreciate your many contributions that have helped make these accomplishments possible.

We believe our relentless pursuit of excellence sets us apart as a leading education management organization; this is only possible

in partnership with you! Our tuition-free public charter schools offer individualized pathways to success, including virtual learning, college and career-ready technical programs with on-site career certifications, and even pathways toward military readiness and education.

Though we’ve made great strides, we’ve just started. So much more is to come in our and our clients’ future. As we continue to grow and expand our footprint across the country, we remain vehemently focused on doing what is right and honest because, as we do, we will stand above the rest alongside you. Thank you for supporting Charter One; the best is yet to come!

With gratitude,

TEACHER TRAINING

At Charter One, we believe that our teachers have the most important job in the world, which is to assist parents in raising the next generation of educated, responsible citizens, and strong leaders. Teachers and staff at our client schools are immersed in a supportive environment and positive culture that allows them to grow and thrive, professionally and personally.

One way Charter One cultivates a positive family environment for all client school administration and staff is by holding an annual teacher training. In 2021 and 2022, Charter One invited motivational speaker Clint Pulver to present in front of 1,300 teachers about how impactful their work is as educators. Charter One makes it a priority to ensure their client school administration and staff feel valued by not only fueling them with the encouragement they need for the upcoming school year, but also by providing them with the tools they need to be successful leaders in their classrooms and beyond.

The students of today are the leaders of tomorrow and it is our responsibility to help them reach their potential. Educators and administrators play a key role in making our mission of providing the best educational experience to as many students as possible in a moral and wholesome environment a reality.
