Consistent renovation projects taught her a lot about the construction process, and frequent trips to local antique malls instilled in her an appreciation for vintage and antique goods and their rich incorporations into home design. After undertaking a few home renovations of her own, she began designing for others and in 2016 launched her own design firm Crystal Nagel Design.
