Charlotte Holly's current portfolio of work from her time at University for the Creative arts. The first project is her tailoring project focusing on microscopic views of moth wings. The second project was the shirt project where students were to pick a brand from Dover Street Market and create a collection featuring at leas 4 shirts and to construct one. She chose Raf Simons and focused her collection on Michelangelo Antonioni's 1966 film Blow-Up as well as Studio 54. The final project in the portfolio is her Global and Historical project where students were asked to focus on a culture and to create a 6 look collection. She chose the American western frontier, specifically the women featured in Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show. She found that these women were made to dress like men to be respected and exploring modern femininity wanted to combine the strength of these women then with the reclaiming of female empowerment now. She did so by combining lingerie with these women's historical garments.
