Resort - Hospitality

Peace In The Wild

Classic Tranquil Timeless

Modern Mountain

With cedar trees, landscape and beaches surrounding the lodge, the design takes inspiration from the island's nature to make users feel connected to the island's culture while experiencing their time in the resort. Soft, smooth textures combined with rich, warm colors such as eclipse and canyon clay will highlight the timeless design style of Modern Mountain. The users will also have a chance to feel the texture as they are made to be interactive and engaged with. Both public and private spaces will be filled with designs that has rustic and earthy elements, although the private spaces will have an extra layer of cozy texture. Dark shades of greens and orange are the primary colors, with green used to signify the environment of the area, and orange is for the wildfire species. Secondary colors including neutral tones will show the history and life of Little St. Simons and its tranquility. The space will have a combination of vibrant, bold as well as subtle and muted tints. These color contrast will bring out the design's classic elements. A few more elements to emphasize the design style is done by the materials, such as wood, stone and a hint of copper, creating a sleek and clean look.

Majestic Serenity

Upon entering the office, one is immediately enveloped in a sense of warmth and tranquility, a testament to the thoughtful use of warm neutral colors like browns and beiges that adorn the space. The earthy tones of the walls and furniture create an inviting and calm atmosphere, reminiscent of the serene hues of nature.

These colors are known for their psychological effects in including feelings of stability, comfort and roundedness. As a result, employees and visitors alike find themselves feeling more relaxed and at ease, a state of mind conductive to both productivity and creativity. The gentle and unobstructed nature of these colors also promotes a sense of spaciousness and openness, making the office feel more welcoming and less intimidating.

This subtle yet effective use of color transforms the office into a sanctuary away from the outside world's hustle and bustle, fostering an environment where people can focus, collaborate, and thrive in peace.
