Snake
The discovery of the Kukri Snakes is an exciting development in herpetology The species was recently discovered in India by local villagers, who had observed a snake with distinctive markings that they had never seen before. This type of snake has yellow and black main stripes on its back with small white spots surrounding it. However, the most noteworthy feature of this newly discovered species is its unique defensive behavior: when threatened, it curls into a coil resembling a kukri knife – hence why it's named after one. Its tail also tapers off similarly to an actual kukri blade, making for a startlingly deceptive visual illusion that can be used to defend against potential predators or attackers. Since its initial discovery, little research data exists regarding other aspects such as diet, reproduction behavior, and life span; however, due to their size (upwards of 40 cm), we know that any prey items would have to be relatively lower down on the food chain such as insects or rodents Hence, the Kukri Snakes pose no threat to humans despite their intimidating appearance at first glance
