ADULT SWIM PROGRAMS

AQUA HEALTHY BACKS A low impact class designed for those with back pain. This class focuses on core strengthening and stretching to decrease pain and increase spinal stability. Location: therapy pool

ADULT SWIM LESSONS Adult swim lessons are available for beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels and are designed to meet the needs of the participant. You must register for the class, but is included in your membership. Classes for program members are $70 for 6 classes. See our class guide for current offerings. Location: lap pool

AQUA ZUMBA Known as the Zumba “pool party,” the Aqua Zumba program gives new meaning to the idea of an invigorating workout. Along with splashing, stretching, and twisting, shouting, laughing, hooting and hollering are often heard during an Aqua Zumba class! Integrating the Zumba formula and philosophy with traditional aqua fitness disciplines, the Aqua Zumba class blends it all together into a safe, challenging, water-based workout that’s cardioconditioning, body-toning, and most of all, exhilarating beyond belief. Location: lap pool

AQUA BOOTCAMP This class is designed as a combination of functional land training exercises and lap swimming for interval work to improve cardiovascular, cardiorespiratory and strength. A fun but challenging workout made for anyone wanting to boost their workouts to the next level! Location: lap pool

AQUA ARTHRITIS This exercise program is designed to ease pain, tone muscles and improve joint mobility. A great class for those recovering from surgery or suffering from arthritis and other ailments. Location: therapy pool AQUA STROKE RECOVERY Class includes mild strengthening, coordination, and range of motion exercises. Those unable to stand must have a caregiver in the pool with them. Pre-assessment required to take this class. Location: therapy pool

AQUA FIT This class provides a complete fitness routine that places an emphasis on cardiovascular endurance while incorporating strength and flexibility components. Ideal for individuals seeking an exercise option that is easy on the joints, yet challenging. This is a fun and efficient workout for the swimmer and nonswimmer alike. Location: lap pool

AQUA HIIT This nonstop water based workout that guarantees to get your heart pumping and burn calories. Your muscles will be put to work by the natural resistance of the water, while intense cardio exercises will improve your heart and lung function.
