Egbert Nathaniel Dawkins III A.K.A Aloe Blacc won our hearts first with his single “I need a dollar” and now he’s topping the charts with “The Man.” Born on January 7th 1979 with a passion and talent for music, he started playing a rented trumpet when he was in third grade. But Blacc has come far from the young days of playing the trumpet and singing back up. Aloe Blacc performed the vocals on Avicii’s “Wake me up” and we all remember the frenzy that track created. “Wake me up” reached number one in 103 countries and became the fastest selling single in UK. We hope to hear many more great tunes featuring the man himself.

Looking for

Change_ Setters. We look at society and often we are the very first people to judge and criticise but really what is it that you are doing differently. In fashion we have the trendsetters those who push the boundaries but, what are we doing that instills change for a better human society. Maybe you’ve started your own business or you help out at the local shelter whether it is big or small it doesn’t matter. A great man once said, “Be the Change you want to see in the world.” So my fellow readers I challenge you to be a Change_Setter. Send me your story on why you are a Change_Setter with a photo of you as well as your twitter handle (if you have one) and I will feature you in next month’s magazine. Transformers 4: Age of Extinction Our favourite mechanical friends are back but this time they may be in danger. A mechanic and his daughter make a discovery that will bring down the Autobots and Decipticons. A group of businessmen and scientists attempt to learn from the past and push the boundaries of technology. Unfortunately this movie does not feature Shia Labeouf, the talented and handsome Mark Wahlberg does justice to the main character (Cade Yeager). Also starring Nicola Peltz and Jay Reynor, you can catch this movie in cinemas from June 27th, 2014.

Keeping it relaxed I call this time study season because really this is when people suddenly pull out the files that are coated with cobwebs from under the bed and then attempt to learn. You’re studying and its cold so there is nothing better than a pair of sweats and your favourite hoodie. Wear something that makes you feel good and is comfortable so keep the skinny jeans and stilettos in your closets and go for the girl next-door look or what I call it “I just woke up now and I don’t care” look. You can find a variety of hoodies and sweat pants from many clothing outlets e.g. Mr. Price, Cotton On and Factorie.
