WE ARE SILVERSWORDS

PILINA

“I chose Chaminade because it has the best Forensic Science program in Hawai'i, and I wanted to pursue a career that allowed me to give back to my community. My forensics professors are so supportive and really took the time to get to know me personally. I know I’ll be ready for graduate school because of the amazing preparation I’m getting here at Chaminade.” Caleb Cloud ‘25 Forensic Sciences major Arlington, Virginia

means relationships or connections

Chaminade University is all about connections. It’s about connecting with yourself and with others to create a college experience that is truly yours. Our close-knit campus community looks out for each other, and this culture of inclusion supports your personal success and educational growth.

“One of the aspects I appreciate most about Chaminade is the inviting atmosphere that permeates the campus. From the professors to my fellow students, there's a genuine sense of welcome and support. The culture of aloha is really embraced here. Chaminade truly understands and embodies this spirit, creating a remarkable and inclusive environment for all.” Victoria Francois ‘24, Psychology major 'Ewa Beach, Hawai'i

“Chaminade’s student life opportunities have really made my college experience incredible. I’m currently president of the Chaminade Student Government Association and the Restauranteers Club. I’m also the treasurer for Psi Chi, The International Honor Society of Psychology. Getting involved with student life has really helped me learn even more about what I’m studying in the classroom, and through these activities, I’ve met a ton of new people with similar interests and career goals.” Pamela Oda ‘24, Criminology and Criminal Justice/Data Science, Analytics and Visualization double major Hilo, Hawai'i

“While pursuing my degree, I interned with the Honolulu architecture firm G70. I assisted architects, interior designers, and construction administrators with a variety of projects in the office and on site at the firm’s project locations. Gaining real-world experience in my field before graduation was an incredible learning experience, and building these connections provided invaluable knowledge that will undoubtedly propel my future career.”

“Chaminade offers incredible networking opportunities. My professors set up seminars and discussion programs with professionals all over Hawai'i and around the world. I love how I’m learning complex data and financial analysis that I can apply in real business, and I’m expanding my knowledge of entrepreneurship.”

Katherine Liu ‘26 Environmental + Interior Design major Honolulu, Hawai'i

Mvfaden Iriarte ’25 Business Administration major Nett, Pohnpei, Federated States of Micronesia

“The Chaminade professors, academic advisors, tutors and counselors don’t forget that we are human before anything else. School is important, but students deal with real-life issues outside of school, which can sometimes make learning a challenge. I found comfort in the flexibility that was offered to me during my times of need. I have also gone to the counseling center during a family emergency. The support I received there was amazing and helped me successfully complete my junior year of nursing school.” Brittany Johnson ‘24, Nursing major Chicago, Illinois

The world is your classroom. Real learning happens when you get out of your comfort zone and seek out new experiences. Chaminade offers many exciting opportunities to meet fellow Silverswords, explore new passions, and enhance your learning. You’ll truly make the most out of your college experience by going all in with your education.
