ow that the school year is in full swing, I hope that you have been able to attend a Chaminade event and enjoy being back on campus and seeing your Chaminade Family. Many exciting functions have taken place which include Fall Classic Family BBQ, Homecoming, Grandparents Mass, Celebrate Chaminade, the Alumni Golf Classic, and numerous other events. We have had substantial alumni participation so far and it is great to see the various classes coming together to enjoy our great school. We are truly blessed to have so many alumni involved in the school and we would like to thank all those who work and participate in the various events. We are also thankful that the Chaminade Mothers' and Fathers' Clubs, and our Alumni Association work so well together to make all these events a success. Our fall sports teams continued to thrive with football, soccer, cross country, and swimming and diving all competing in post-season play. We have much to be proud of as well with our theatre and band programs. Numerous musicians received high honors at

the State Solo/Ensemble contest at Mizzou and the theatre group put on a successful run of "Peter and the Starcatcher" and will put on three more great productions this school year, including "Clue – The Musical" the first weekend of December. There is much going on at Chaminade and if you have attended events this fall you will see that we have a new track surface, an improved Chaminade Hall, and we are currently under construction for a state-of-the-art baseball stadium. As always, Chaminade continues to excel academically and offers our students so many opportunities to achieve college credits, grow within the house system, and live the tradition of serving others. Our faculty and staff are second to no other high-school and continue to improve the learning experience for our students. On a personal note, my Class of 1982 just celebrated its thirty-fifth reunion and once again I was reminded of how great Chaminade really is and why I am so fortunate to have attended Chaminade as well as watch as my

two sons enjoy their Chaminade experience. Chaminade is a one of a kind place where friendships are formed for life. I've spoken to many alumni who attended Celebrate Chaminade and no matter when you graduated, we all hold Chaminade near and dear to our hearts. Chaminade is truly a great place! Thank you for allowing me to serve as your Alumni Board President and please feel free to contact me or any other Alumni Board members about how we can improve your Chaminade experience.
