Tragic Crowd Surge at Rochester Rap Concert Leaves Two Dead
Two women are dead, and several others were injured, when false fears of a shooting at a rap concert in Rochester sent a crowd surging toward the exits last Sunday night.
One of the deceased was 33-year-old Rhondesia Belton of Buffalo, a City employee. The other was a 35-year-old woman from Syracuse.
The Memphis rap stars GloRilla and Finesse2tymes had finished performing at Rochester's Main Street Armory, located 900 E. Main Street, when people exiting the venue just after 11 p.m. began to surge dangerously and rush toward the exit, Police Chief David M. Smith said at a news briefing Monday.
“We do not have any evidence of gunshots being fired or of anyone being shot or stabbed at the scene,” Smith said.
Talking Sports of All Sorts Rochester's Jon “Bones” Jones Wins UFC Heavyweight Championship
Congratulations to Rochester, N.Y.
Born Jon “Bones” Jones in winning
The UFC Heavyweight championship on Saturday night at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas Nevada. The first-round submission by guillotine submission was very impressive.
It’s been three years since the last time we saw Jones in the Octagon, but he showed little rust in the business-like fashion of defeating Ciryl Gane. Jones looked sharp, mobile, and precise in getting Gane to submit. Jones already talking about his first heavyweight title defense against Stipe Miocic possibly July 8 headlining UFC 290 in Las Vegas. Jones brothers Arthur Jones III and Chandler Jones were at ringside along with their father Minister Arthur Jones, Jr.
Jones said, “He is humbled by his win and wanted to thank his Lord Jesus Christ and for all the people that prayed for me; “Thank you to all my fans and supporters for your continued unwavering support. The Jones family is a very religious unit that has many relatives residing in Rochester, NY.
Mayor Malik Evans called the fatal stampede “a tragedy of epic proportions” and promised a through investigation. “We are going to hold people accountable for what happened last night, period,” Mr. Evans said. "It breaks my heart and is totally unacceptable." Mr. Evans called Sunday’s stampede an example of “something that all of us who love concerts worry about.”
Sankofa Study Group
The next gathering of the Sankofa Study Group is scheduled for Sunday, March 19, 1-3pm at Frederick Douglass Family Initiatives located at 140 E. Main Street in Rochester.
Fatal crowd surges have been a recurring disaster at concerts and other large events in the US and around the world.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT…. Working While Black at Tesla….
Investigative Post has reported that Black employees at Tesla’s factory in South Buffalo have filed two complaints with the federal Equal Employment Opportunity Commission alleging racist and sexist treatment by managers for the past five years since the plant opened ranging from offensive remarks to being passed over for promotions. Funding for the $1 billion local Tesla factory comes from Empire State Development, a New York agency. A spokesperson told Investigative Post that the state has “zero tolerance for racism and discrimination in any form.”

Family Seeks Justice for Tyler Lewis!
Tyler X. Lewis was murdered on October 14, 2022 at the University at Buffalo North Campus, located in Amherst, NY. The main suspect and assailant from the scene of the crime is described to be a White male. As with many cases involving a Black victim, the family feels that the DA’s office has not provided any real transparency in their push for accountability and the arrest of the man who killed their loved one. At one point, Tyler's mother, Roquishia Lewis was brought to tears while addressing the press. Tyler was her only son. She and Tyler's father, Terrence have filed a civil suit against UB and Buffalo State. The following press statement was released:
Tyler Lewis, a 19-year-old sophomore at Buffalo State College, was attacked and killed at the University at Buffalo. His murderer is still at large after fleeing the scene with no developments regarding his identity or whereabouts. The Erie County DA's office remains silent while Tyler's parents are still desperate for answers regarding the murder of their child.
"Five months later, there have been no arrests. While university police identified a person of interest, the Erie County DA's Office has not pressed charges against any person in Tyler's case. The DA's office has yet to respond with their DNA analysis or any meaningful information regarding this case and the Lewis family is beyond frustrated at this point.
" It is clear that the Buffalo District Attorney's Office has no intention to indict the described assailant. Tyler Lewis was a young Black college student and the accused murder suspect was described as a White male. Ironically his description as 'White' no longer appears in the media. Nor does the bleeding scar on his forehead that had months to heal. We not only had to hire attorneys, but a private investigator, and also created our own Tip Hotline to move forward with this case. We have lost all confidence in the judicial system and will do whatever it takes to solve this case and bring forth justice.
"Questions regarding university security remain unanswered as it clearly failed Tyler at a place meant to secure his future. Tyler's parents have retained The Law Office of James Williamson. Mr. Williamson is ultimately seeking transparency for this family with the full cooperation of the Erie County DA's Office. The road to justice begins with their findings and bringing forth charges for Tyler's murder.
"The family of Tyler Lewis has been working with Rev. Al Sharpton the Founder and President of the National Action Network; The Law Office of James Williamson; Dr. Melina Abdullah, Leader of the LA chapter and BLM Grassroots Globally; Rev. James Lewis , Buffalo/Niagara Chapter National Action Network; Rev. Anthony Brown, Peacekeepers Court Advocate; and Pastor James Giles, Buffalo Peacekeepers. "
Anyone with anonymous tips regarding Tyler's death can call the following phone number which has been set up by the family: 716-226-6336.
Queen Amanirenas, circa 40 BC
Queen Amanirenas the Nubian Queen Who Conquered the Romans
Queen Amanirenas ruled the Kingdom of Kush from 40 B.C. to 10 B.C., in the Nubian region, now modern-day Sudan. When Roman emperor Augustus conquered neighboring Egypt in 30 B.C.—with plans to next invade Kush—Amanirenas launched a surprise attack on the Romans.
Leading an army of 30,000 from the frontlines, Amanirenas successfully captured three Roman-ruled cities. But it wasn’t long before Rome retaliated, invading Kush, destroying the Kingdom’s capital and selling thousands into slavery. After years of bitter fighting and significant casualties on both sides, negotiations to end the war began in 24 B.C., culminating in a peace treaty five years after the fighting first began. Although the hostilities ended in a stalemate, Queen Amanirenas—unlike many of her neighbors—was victorious in resisting conquest by Rome, never ceding large swaths of territory or paying taxes to the empire. Amanirenas is remembered throughout the Nile Valley and beyond as the Nubian queen who conquered

I AM WOMAN
Iam Marilyn Nixon, your Ostomy Girl.
Once again I am coming to you on behalf of the Buffalo Ostomy Support Group. We are an affiliated support group of the United Ostomy Associations of America, a volunteer association dedicated to the support of ostomates and their families. Ostomie:
WHAT WE DO:
Our meetings provide much needed information to new and future ostomates while providing support for post-operative members and families. We offer ostomy care information through guest speakers, supplier representatives and round table discussions. We share and learn through group discussions that are provided in a safe and confidential environment.
We are still trying to get the medical Administrators from Buffalo General Hospital and ECMC to respond to our letters as to why patients that have had Ostomy surgery have no outpatient service at these hospitals where they have had their surgeries.
For outpatient care, we have to travel to the University of Rochester Medical Center. I repeat, there is NO outpatient care for the general community in the City of Buffalo. While a patient is in the hospital, they get all the care that is needed, however, once they leave the hospital, they are on their on.
I have had to travel to Rochester for outpatient care, treatment and a brief seminar on ostomy care with my stoma. I believe myself or anyone else should not have to travel to another city when care could and should be provided at the hospital at which their surgery was performed.
In the meantime, our group will continue to provide information to everyone that is willing to come to our meetings, which are held once a month 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. on the 2nd Tuesday of each month from March thru October.

Daylight Savings Time and Your Health...
Sunday is the Start of daylight Savings time and people are preparing to set their clocks ahead one hour on Sunday, March 12, 2023.
However according to an article by Beth Ann Malow, Professor of Neurology and Pediatrics, Vanderbilt University, the annual ritual -known as Daylight Saving Time causes disruptions to daily routines caused by switching your clock one hour ahead.
About one-third of Americans say they don’t look forward to these twice-yearly time changes. And nearly two-thirds would like to eliminate them completely, compared to 21% who aren’t sure and 16% who would like to keep moving their clocks back and forth.
But the effects go beyond simple inconvenience. Researchers are discovering that “springing ahead” each March is connected with serious negative health effects, including an uptick in heart attacks and teen sleep deprivation. In contrast, the fall transition back to standard time is not associated with these health effects.

HEALTH IS WEALTH
MARCH IS COLORECTAL CANCER AWARENESS MONTH. HAVE YOU BEEN SCREENED?
People of all races and ethnicities get colorectal cancer, but not equally. In the U.S., Black people are more likely to develop colorectal cancer and almost 1.5 times more likely to die from the disease than any other racial or ethnic group. Black people have lower rates of colorectal cancer screening as well.
Chadwick Boseman, an Actor best known for his role as Black Panther, died following a private battle with colon cancer which came as a shock to many people.
Getting screened regularly, starting at age 45, is the best way to prevent colorectal cancer or find it early when it may be easier to treat. Studies also show that racism affects access to health care, quality of care, ability to pay for health care, and trust of the health care system. These factors directly affect our health.
The Cancer Services Program (CSP) of Erie County works to improve access to quality health care and get people screened for certain cancers, even if they do not have insurance. Screening can help prevent colorectal cancer. In addition, when colorectal cancer is found early, people have an excellent chance of surviving the disease.
The CSP offers free colorectal cancer screening to uninsured people ages 45 and older. The CSP will provide an easy, stoolbased screening test, called FIT. The test is done at home and mailed to a lab. If the test result is not normal, the CSP will pay for a follow-up colonoscopy.
A colonoscopy can find growths, called polyps, and remove them before they turn into cancer. If cancer treatment is needed, the CSP will help clients get enrolled in the Medicaid Cancer Treatment Program.
If you need help getting this important cancer screening, call us at 716-858-7376 or visit www.cspwny.org.

LOCUST STREET ART
Oasis of Creativity in the Heart of the Community Offers Free Classes for Children, Teens and Adults
In the heart of the Fruit Belt lies a tall red brick building that, to the unfamiliar eye, may just look like another beautiful piece of Buffalo architecture. In reality, 138 Locust Street is home to an art school that offers free and low cost classes to the community. It’s “magical”; hallways and classrooms are filled with colorful student artwork, love for the community, and the drive to create.
Founded in 1959, Locust Street Art, formerly MollyOlga, opened its doors to the public in hopes of providing a space of exploration and creativity for a diverse array of students, especially those considered to be at-risk or members of marginalized groups. The types of classes offered include film and digital photography, hand-built and wheel-thrown ceramics, hand-drawn and digital animation, Teen and Adult drawing & painting, and children’s drawing & painting. The school is run by eight teachers and staff members who are all working artists themselves.
“We are about making sure that everyone has equal and equitable access to fine arts,” says Rachelyn Noworyta, the Executive Director. “Places like this save lives and change lives for the better.”-as quoted from “Believe in Buffalo” on Channel 7 News.
Locust Street Art’s next session begins Saturday, March 18th. Artwork from this upcoming session will be featured in their annual Art Show on June 24th, which is open to the public; food, games, and an award ceremony will all be a part of the festivities.
If you are interested in becoming a student or learning more information about Locust Street Art, you can visit their website at www.locuststreetart.org. If you’d like to help support their free classes check out their current fundraiser located on the homepage of their website.

ADRI. V. IS BACK FOR HER 6TH ANNUAL GO GETTA MIX AND MINGLE CELEBRATING EVERYDAY WOMEN WHO MAKE HISTORY IN WNY!
Adriana A. Viverette a popular multimedia personality also known as "ADRI. V. The Go Getta," who packs the house with Black Girl Magic every year without fail. She's back again this year for her 6th annual Go Getta Mix and Mingle , a free event saluting working women of WNY.
Founded and curated since 2015, Adrianna created the event because she wanted to take the time to “Salute” WNY women who she believes possess the Go Getta Spirit and rarely gets to celebrate their wins. She uses her own birthday of March 22 each year to shine a light on women from the community who are blazing their own trail, turning dreams into reality against all odds, while serving as an aspiration and inspiration to those around them.
For this very lively event each year Adri. V. awards ten women she calls “The Talented Ten” for their Go Getta spirit and continual contributions in the City of Buffalo and the community. She modeled the name after ‘The Talented Tenth,’ a term that designated a leadership class of African Americans in the early 20th century and widely publicized by an influential essay by W.E. B. Du Bois of the same name.
This year The Talented Ten include: Chantele Thompson, Juweria Dahir, Kara Oliver-Perez, Leah Daniel ,Shai Arnold, Shantelle Patton, Porsha Parson, Alicia & Alisa Officer, Gizelle Hinson and Zeneta Everhart.
The Crystal E. Viverette Award ( formerly the Rose award) is a special award during the event and given to a woman who in the face of personal adversity continues to forge forward while serving others. The award is named after Adrianna’s late mother who passed from breast cancer in 2022 who she says continued to work as a nurse daily and exhibited unbelievable strength and joy through her difficult time until the end.
The Go Getta Mix & Mingle is taking place from 6-10 pm on March 22 at WXYZ Bar 500 Pearl Street with music by DJ Brei and an appearance by poet Ten Thousand. There will be networking from 6-7:30p.m. followed by The Talented Ten Toast and Rose Ceremony
7:30-8:30p.m. and from 8:30 -10p.m. Adri’s signature party with a purpose turns up not only celebrating the awardees but Adri’s birthday!

A Unique and Beautiful Women’s History Month Experience
March is designated Women’s History Month, and last Saturday I had the opportunity to attend the Eritrea Association International Women’s Month event. It was a very entertaining and joyful experience! This colorful event allowed me to see first a beautiful culture and tradition of a land and a people that my ancestors were stolen from centuries ago. The women sat in separate sections of the room from the men, and the children as children do, played and enjoyed themselves.
The women were all dressed in long white dresses, with the colors of the Eritrean flag trimmed around the neck and down the blouse. The meal that was prepared was delicious! Oh My Goodness!!! It was a full coarse that consisted of a finely chopped meat, greens, vegetables and a salad. After the meal was eaten the ladies passed out traditional coffee, popcorn and wheat twists as a desert.
After dinner and coffee the men and women began to do traditional dancing. What I was able to view and enjoy was a tradition and culture that was still retained and celebrated by a people of African descent; something which I, as an African in America, had robbed from me. I was able to see families and friends enjoy centuries long traditions, and enjoy a rich culture that the Eritrean people still practice today in a new world to them. I am an African who was born in America, I do have Native American ancestry as well, I am proud of both.
Let us welcome and learn from our African family members, our way as true African People. Even though different indeed, we are the same people, an African people, where ever we may be! I'm just saying...
U.S. Hailed Nigeria Election Results While Election Observers Cried Foul
As independent U.S. election observers raised alarm bells about widespread voting irregularities in Nigeria’s Feb. 25 presidential elections, the U.S. State Department was singing an entirely different tune, congratulating Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the electoral victor and hailing a “competitive election” that “represents a new period for Nigerian politics and democracy. Some experts believe that the U.S. tendency to quickly endorse election results, even despite legal challenges and credible allegations of voter irregularities, could erode trust in democratic institutions in nascent democracies in Africa and undermine the United States’ already shaky standing as the top defender of democracy worldwide. Washington faces similar such test cases in other key elections coming up this year across the continent, including in Zimbabwe, Sierra Leone, Liberia, and again in Congo.
-A Repeat of 2019-
When the results of the 2019 presidential election in the Democratic Republic of the Congo were announced in favor of the candidate Felix Tshisekedi, independent groups in Congo had detected widespread fraud in the vote, so U.S. officials from the Trump administration agreed to condemn the process as rigged and vowed to hold those involved responsible. However instead of condemning the election as “deeply flawed and troubling,” following the language of the original draft, the United States endorsed the results and offered praise for the election. -Source Foreign Policy
Ghana Celebrates 66th Year of Independence from Colonial Rule
On March 6, 1957 Prime Minister of Ghana, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah declared the country free from British Colonial rule.
Ghana set the record as the first country to gain independence from colonial rule after the long fight for freedom.
Since that year, the country has celebrated Independence Day on March 6 every year.
Kwame Nkrumah, declared in his famous speech, “The African People are capable of managing their own affairs and Ghana our beloved country is free forever!”
“Cop City” Protests Continue
Atlanta, GA--In Atlanta, the clash over plans to build a police training center - dubbed “Copy City” by opponents of the project - on a large tract of land has brought at least one death, a state of emergency, and domestic terrorism charges — and protests are only expected to grow more intense. Police arrested at least 35 people recently after dozens of activists swarmed a construction site and set heavy equipment and other items on fire hoping to block construction of a $90 million public safety training campus in an area called the South River Forest. The F.B.I. was assisting in the investigation. Those opposed to the training center include both environmental advocates who want to preserve one of the region’s largest remaining green spaces and activists concerned about the increased militarization and aggressive tactics of police forces.

The Race for Masten
In addition to India Walton and Zeneta Everhart declaring their candidacies for the Masten District council seat, Beverly Robinson-Smith, former Housing Counselor at the Buffalo Urban League, a lead consultant and motivational speaker and Gina Davis, have also expressed an interest in the Masten District race. Ulysses O. Wingo, the current Masten District Councilman is not seeking re-election . Ms. Everhart has received the Democratic endorsement.

He also pastors Gethsemane Missionary Baptist Church. Chapman, 70, and his wife Ina, have been married for 48 years. He says his extensive background and track record as a leader in the Fruit Belt community best qualifies him for the position.
Former New York State Assembly staffer and organizer Matt Dearing has also announced his campaign to represent the Ellicott District in the City of Buffalo’s Common Council. Dearing, 29, attended Lawrence University in Appleton, Wisconsin where he studied Government and Economics.
Cedric R. Holloway, the director of the Johnnie B. Wiley Pavilion and Community Center is expected to make his official announcement later this week.

2023 ELECTION
UPDATE
From Left: Barbara Miller-Williams, Zellner, Tiffany Perry.
National/World News
Dr. Kwame Nkrumah
The People Have A Right To Know What Is Going On In The Erie County Holding Center!
The People of Erie County have a right to know what is going on in The Erie County Holding Center and to have some input as to both the conditions and operation of the jail. Of course, we, the citizens, expect that the professionals that we either elected or who were hired, to be qualified and left alone to do their job.
However, when it becomes necessary to have the United States Department of Justice come in to evaluate, investigate and make recommendations about how to better operate the jail in ways that serve the citizens as well as those detained in the jail (as was the case in 2005 when way too many deaths occurred under questionable circumstances), then it behooves the citizens to make their voice heard in ways that protect their interest and the lives and well-being of those detained.
For years now, I, along with many other concerned citizens, have written about issues of concern regarding the wrongful behaviors of some of the people that were hired to do the job of guarding and performing care, custody and control of those detained. And let me be clear, we are not talking about the “deputies” who go to work every day to really only do the job of care, custody and control in ways that serve the interest of all parties, but here the focus is on those who have other agendas that end up hurting the people under their care and all of us as well.
To that end, the Erie County Corrections Specialist Advisory Board was re-established under the leadership of the current County Legislature, Chaired by The Honorable April Baskin, and for the past three years this Advisory Board has worked with Jail Management, the Legislature, people inside, and families outside under the leadership of former Superintendent Thomas Diina and newly appointed Superintendent Mike Phillips, to quell many of the issues and concerns that continued to arise even after the official departure of Sheriff Tim Howard.
The Advisory Board, formerly chaired by Miles Gresham and now Chaired by Cindi McEachon, has been able to work with jail management and all parties concerned, to bring in the M.A.T, (Medication Assisted Treatment) program to help people who go into the jail with substance abuse challenges, withdraw from physical addictions. That program, M.A.T., is currently operating at the Holding Center. There is room for improvement in how it is operated.
The Advisory Board has also been able to tour the Holding Center fairly regularly, and identify what we saw and had been told were blind spots there, where detainees claimed to have been regularly beaten and violated by jail guards.
As a result of that discovery of the “blind spots," the Advisory Board was able to work with current jail management and get an agreement to purchase body cameras to be worn by deputies, for their and detainees’ protection, as well as stationary cameras to be placed in the blind spots in order to record all engagements where there was potential for abuse.
However to date, after years of negotiations, the “teamsters union” that is supposed to protect the rights of deputies and all parties under the care custody and control of the Erie County Holding Center and “Correctional Facility,” has prevented the agreement from moving forward and placement of those cameras to take place. Nor are the deputies wearing those cameras yet. It is as though they don’t want the guards to get caught on camera abusing or beating detainees.
We, the Corrections Specialist Advisory Board, are at an impasse. The Legislature has tried. Jail management has tried. We have all tried to get beyond this impasse and have those cameras placed, and more cameras issued to deputies who want to “do the right thing.”
The Corrections Specialist Advisory Board meets the last Tuesday of every month at 4:30 p.m. We have asked the community to weigh in on our collective concerns about what goes on at the Holding Center, where mostly Black, Brown and some White people are detained. I am asking again for our community to attend these meetings. .
You can log in on your laptop, desktop or telephone. The meetings are currently virtual and all you have to do is email Sean.Mulligan@erie.gov , or call and ask to be placed on the community comment list for the upcoming meeting scheduled for April 25, 2023, at 4:30 p.m. and you can attend virtually, listen to what work the Corrections Specialist Advisory Board does and then offer your own comments as to what you would like to see happen at the Erie County Holding Center in terms of treatment and programming for the people detained there.
2023: Year of the Woman in
Buffalo Electoral Politics?
Unlike previous years, the 2023 Buffalo Common Council races have a lot of women candidates seeking most of the 9 council district seats.
So far, the leading contenders for Masten District include at least three female candidates: India Walton , Zeneta Everhart and Gina Davis.
University District has Kathryn Franco trying for her 2nd attempt to unseat the incumbent Councilmember. In the Ellicott District, it is rumored that Leah Halton-Pope will go up against Cedric Holloway, Michael Chapman, Matt Dearing and another female who hasn't decided yet if she is going to jump in the race.
Eve Shippens , a decades long, science teacher, currently assigned to East High Community School, is making a bid to depose the North District Councilmember who has held onto the seat for the past 23 years! This writer has heard several female names being floated around as candidates for the Fillmore, Niagara, Lovejoy and Delaware Districts. If this information is true and women run and win in these four districts, in addition to the Masten, Ellicott and University Districts, this city may be facing a situation where the common council could go from having zero female Council Members to having a female, super majority of seven out of 9 council seats.
If that were to happen, the number of female Councilmembers would surpass the 6 females who were elected to represent their respective districts, in 1999. We elected Councilmembers Barbara Miller- Williams in Ellicott, Betty Jean Grant in University, Karen Ellington, in Fillmore, and Mary Martino, in the South District. Councilmembers-At- Large Beverly S. Gray and Rose Lotempio rounded out the number to six females on the 2000-2002 Buffalo Common Council.
I have not heard any 'noise' about the South and Niagara Districts but it is still early; petitioning for signatures started just last week. Maybe a woman or two, in both of those districts will run, win and give the current, all male, Buffalo Common Council a new look that is more in tune with how government should look like and be: diverse, inclusive and representative of all the city residents; Black, White, young, old, multi-ethnic and gender neutral.
I don't know about the rest of the voters but this writer is looking forward to citizens looking like me, in ethnicity and gender, taking their much needed places in the council chambers after the November, 2023, General Election.

Where Did All This Hate Come From?
Dear Editor:
Investigating and/or blaming Peyton Gendron’s parents for his May 14, 2022, racist attack on the Tops on Jefferson Avenue doesn’t go nearly far or deep enough. For instance, perhaps we should look at the cultish and/ or spineless enthusiasm way too many Republicans have for the ex-President. Remember his “very fine people” comment about the 2017 Charlottesville racist attack, and how some of those same “very fine people” showed up AGAIN at the capitol on Jan. 6th, 2021, in their (lucky for us) half cocked attempt at a coup? All of this and more should be a blazing red flag to us all that we have a racism problem in this country, from top to bottom.
And Republicans aren’t the only ones to blame here. Anyone can see that the election of Joe Biden hasn’t even come close to solving the US’s plague of racial woes. And speaking of plagues, in a nasty historical twist, it was none other than Binghamton, NY, just a few miles from Conklin, Gendron’s hometown, that served as the NY state headquarters of the KKK from 1923-1928. Didn’t know that the supposedly “blue” democratic “liberal” stronghold of NY had a KKK chapter? I did. Look it up, and you’ll find it, in all its shameful glory, right there on google.
Until we look at the racism in our society, both past and present and on both sides of the political aisle, we can only expect more of these horrific outbreaks. Hypocritically throwing our hands in the air and wondering “where did all this hate come from?” will do nothing to solve it.

(60 million hard cap) contract and Josh Allen deal kicks in along with over paying “ just average “ tight end Dawson Knox. We already know Jordan Poyer is almost gone most likely to Miami the Dolphins but a better fit for him would be the Kansas City Chiefs. I would rework Josh Allen’s deal along with Von Miller to have any opportunity of resigning Tremaine Edmunds. The Bills should draft the best linemen they can find in the first and second rounds of the draft. Keep in mind the Bills have only 5 draft picks in this draft.
-The Sabres Looing Much Better-
The Buffalo Sabres are playing much better than in previous seasons. It’s about time the team has finally becoming competitive and most likely making the playoffs for the first in in over a decade. This team needs a good goalie and a defensive defenseman for next season and hopefully Tage Thompson, Jeff Skinner, Dylan Cozens, and the leadership from Sabres Captain Kyle Okposo can continue this forward movement. It’s amazing how good former Sabres goalie Liv Ullmark is performing for the Boston Bruins. It just goes to show you if you have a good defense in front of your goalie, clearing the puck out of the zone after the first shot on goal is critical to his performance. Take care and remember to “be a good Sport!”
