Monitoring & Evaluation Final Report Project Title: “Zhyan -Strengthening the humanitarian response for Syrian refugee, Iraqi IDP’s and hosting communities in KRG with a special focus on Women and Children” Project code: AID 10272/IRAQ/04 Report period Period : 8/03/ - 31/12/ 2015

1. Achievements (progress towards plan activities or progress/result achieved): During the first face of project period, 3617 girls and women visited the three statics clinic in Erbil, Kasnazan and Shaqlawa. Within this number, 1270 women and girls were Syrian refugees, 2105 Iraqi IDPs and 242 from hosting community. Main reason for visiting was anti natal care , fallowing are data of most visiting purposes and number of FGM and GBV cases, all GBV cases were referred to social workers of AL_Mesalla / UNFPA to receive psychosocial support.

Case referral to public hospitals During this reporting period 305 cases are referred to Maternity Hospital, Shaqlawa hospital and Rezgary teaching hospital, within mentioned number, 35 women had normal vaginal delivery and 30 women under go caesarean section, other purposes for referral included, blood analysis, removal of mas, infertility, vaginal bleeding, Mammography and more advanced ultrasound .

Home medical visit of mobile unit During reporting period 843 patients received home medical visits, their needs are identified and accessed, cases were referred to static clinics or public hospitals according to needs, and all the transportation fee were covered, as fallowing: Medical Mobile Unit- home visit Khabat 174

4. Awareness and information campaigns: During project period, 405 awareness sessions were conducted in camps, non- camps and statics clinics, sessions were arranged by the nurses with supervision of the doctors , awareness lectures were about reproductive health and GBV, with different specific topics such as: family planning, child registration, personal hygiene, domestic violence, early marriage, early pregnancy, HIV, breast self-examination, ANC, UTI and many other topics, total beneficiaries of all the awareness sessions was 5678 women, girls and families.
