Mercer Advisors is a global financial planning and wealth management firm with more than 110 offices nationwide. As part of their expansion, they opened a new location in Century City within the Douglas Emmett building portfolio. I collaborated closely with the tenant and their project team throughout the entire process, from obtaining space plan approval to project completion.

In response to the need for Milk and Honey office relocation, I worked with Douglas Emmett leasing agent to meet with the tenant and efficiently develop a space plan that aligned with their programming and requirements while maintaining the TI budget allowance. This involved tenant approval on the space plan, preparing a pricing plan, and coordinating with estimating team to determine the most cost-effective approach. This entire process was successfully completed in five weeks from the initial planning to the commencement of construction.

Objective
With 35,000 square footage of tenant improvement, I supported the Senior Designer in the preparation of construction documentation, the selection of finishes, ordering material samples, and the development of 3D renderings using Revit and Enscape.
Valley Presbyterian is a hospital specializes in maternity, child healthcare, cardiac care, orthopedics, and critical care services. I assisted the Design Principal and Senior Designer in the development of finishes and layout throughout the main lobby, hospital rooms, extended wings, and corridors. In addition, we’ve assisted the client in the development of their furniture’s and finishes standard throughout the remodeled spaces.

INDA academy is a two story 21st century neighborhood school with an innovation “DREAMS” curriculum (Design, Research, Engineering, Arts, Math, and Science) offering students starting from Kindergarten to Middle grade schooling. I assisted the team in the development of a Construction Document set focusing on the interior sheets at the same time asissted in picking up redlines in response to the city comments from the architectural team.

Objective
Working collaboratively with the architect, I assisted the Design Principal in the development of the interior design concept including the selection of finishes palette, furniture layout and new furniture packages, millwork designs, and new lighting layout for the modernization of La Mirada and Smyth Elementary Schools in the San Ysidro School district. The renovation and upgrade included classrooms, libraries, multi-purpose rooms, teachers lounge, accessible restrooms, reception area, and exterior improvements.
