CLINIC FALL 2022 By the village of Tenganan in Bali, a clinic is built for all the neighboring villages. This project explores cultural and contextual awareness and sustainable design

The placement of the clinic on the site, takes into consideration the existing conditions of the site. The roof of each module does not enclose any of the spaces but rather only provides shelter with the broad overhangs.

The layout relates both to the efficiency of the clinic and how the spaces would be used by the people of Tenganan, resulting on an overall emphasis on outdoor spaces.

THEATER SPRING 2022 In Austin, Texas a theater and event space is created in the immersive downtown. This project explores and pushes the definition of threshold.

The threshold is blurred with the use of condition that enclosed spaces have no covering and covered spaces are are not enclosed.

Gardens and garden elements help reinforce the blur between inside and outside.

This includes vegetation, openings, and colored lights in the glass.

PLAN ANATOMY SUMMER 2022 This research explores the composition of exhibition spaces. This inital phase analyzes the path through the wireframe of a plan.

REC CENTER FALL 2021 In an effort to revitalize the downtown in Lubbock, Texas, a recreational center is introduced. This is not only a place to exercise, but a place of gathering and community.

The process of interlocking the spaces: _Series of pushing spaces in and down. _Soften the edges that are not within the interlocked area.

The process of interlocking the circulation: _Push the connecting element out to touch adjacent faces. _Extend and interlock on end eith a space. _Soften the edges that are not within the interlocked area.

Invasive Spaces _These are spaces that push into a spaces and keep there original size or take in more space.

Subtractive Spaces _These are space lose space due to an invasive space pushing into them. They can also give their space away.

STAIR SPRING 2020 After an anatomy study, an augmentation is added to the human body. Data on the movement is analyzed and portrayed onto a stair.

Using the extracted data from the motion analysis, three stairs are made for each element.

These elements are then merged into one composite stair that synthesizes all three abstractions from the motion of the augmented body onto a stair.
