Changed Plans and Changed Lives
When Josh and Sarah first considered expanding their family, adoption was already on their hearts. After a powerful message from their pastor about caring for widows and orphans, they both felt a clear calling and that adoption was where they were being led.
Initially hoping for a little girl to join their three boys, their plans shifted when their CFC adoption specialist suggested they consider a young boy from the youth permanency program. “While on the phone with our adoption specialist one day, she

Join us as a Prayer Partner!
One of the best ways you can support our work is by joining us as we place the following requests in our Heavenly Father's hands each month:
APRIL: We pray that each teen aging out of the foster care system will lead a successful, healthy, independent life.
MAY: We pray that each child in a CFC foster home finds comfort in Jesus, and that every foster child available for adoption finds a Christ-centered forever family through our Youth Permanency adoption program. Pray also that God calls more Christ-centered homes to foster and adopt children.

asked us if we would be willing to consider a little boy and said she thought she had the perfect one for us. It turns out she was right! When we read his bio, he seemed like he was already a part of our family. It was a no brainer.”
The journey wasn’t without challenges, but CFC services proved pivotal in strengthening the home that would eventually welcome their son David. From

Letter from the President
Dear Friends,
As we reflect on 2024, I want to extend my deepest gratitude to you, our champion donors, volunteers, and friends in prayer. Your support has played a vital role in strengthening families and transforming the lives of vulnerable children and adults across Arizona. All told, we served more than 3,000 children and families—an incredible 51% increase over last year.
At the heart of our mission are the three pillars that guide our work: prevention, preparation, and restoration. The Evil one is hard at work to attack the family from every side, which is why we are focused not just on preserving families, but also preparing and restoring them so that every child and adult can thrive in a stable, Christ-centered family.

your
commitment makes a real impact on the lives of vulnerable children and families.
We are also excited to announce a new partnership with the Alhambra Elementary School District. This collaboration allows us to provide trauma-informed training for teachers to help them create calm classroom environments, as well as offer counseling services to elementary-aged children and their families. This initiative represents a significant step forward in our mission to both address childhood trauma early and support families within their communities.
As we look to the future, I invite you to strengthen your partnership with CFC. Whether through donations, prayer, or volunteering, your commitment makes a real impact on the lives of vulnerable children and families.
Rooted in our Christ-centered principles, we made great strides in 2024. With your continued support, we are confident we will make an even bigger impact in 2025.
