Tokyo Bust Express: Beware Hello, not sure where to post this but I guess I'll just post it here, hoping to help even one person from making the wrong decision. Tried to see if their FB was accepting posts but obv not. Will not be revealing any details that may potentially identify me and kenna from them.

BACKGROUND: I was "convinced" to sign up for TBE in Singapore this year, March 2020 and did a full month of treatment. A full month as in, I had about 12 sessions (2 complimentary ones as a "gift" for signing up for more add-ons) and used them regularly within the month. I had just ended my final study year, hence got time. I spent about $2,000 by my last session, which in my budget was muuchhh more than I had planned to.

BEGINNING: I received a call from them (think I entered my details in an insta post claiming for free trial or smth) in mid-February, and was convinced to go for their "complimentary" trial session of just a simple massage meant to enhance my breast health. They also promised a free "CNY goodie bag" and NTUC vouchers which had to be redeemed before March. (Which, btw is not worth, just a TISSUE PACKET and cheap powerbank with their logo slapped on it, so good luck bringing it out. Also the NTUC voucher is only $5) Hence I decided to go on the 29 Feb since I was free anw. They then texted me the details that included the usual place & timing, but also a note that emphasized for me to show up, as a room had been "specially booked" for me. Cue the social pressure even before day 1.

Fast forward to going to the outlet. They were very friendly and had me go into a small room to fill up some forms to find out more about me and the usual profile qns (are you allergic to anything, etc.).

Their specialist, as they would call them, then entered the room. Cue the small talk, which led to an introduction of their services. My specialist, called "Mary" (nt her real name), then proceeded with the usual "warming up" sales talk. Dumb me then eventually got psycho-ed into it, and tada that's how my 1 month long journey started. I shall just get into the gist of things to look out for to avoid this post being too long.

WHAT PACKAGE DID YOU SIGN UP FOR: As mentioned, I originally wanted to opt for the complimentary breast health massage which was meant to prevent cancer and illness. But they sneakily ask in the forms to rank the top 3 concerns of your breasts, where presumably they would: see how they would pitch their sales to you scope the area of concern which they can capitalise on e.g. an area where you can physically see improvements and hence be tempted to continue treatment Ultimately they saw that I also put sagging breasts as a concern and alas they have found their target.

They recommended their firming treatment (which I eventually took). I have quite large breasts as compared to the average SG girl and sagging is a part of my life that would be a normal concern. Their claim was extraordinary. Here are some I can rmb up until today. They also showed pictures of supposedly other customers' breasts as evidence, which didn't show their face of course.

If you do (our treatment) regularly, you can achieve your desired look! EVEN IN A MONTH! I had asked her, really??! And she confidently said yes. I have only realised now, what stupid BS.

Since you are so young, you will cfm have better results than other customers here who are much older!

Just do it now and don't regret later! (They rly emphasised this ALOT.) Don't wait until you're like these other customers then you regret!

I really hesitated a lot, and wanted to just use the excuse of "let me consult my parents first". But they kept pushing, saying it's a "once only discount if you purchase now" and just kept suggesting more packages that could perhaps suit my budget. Eventually, the benefits they said it would bring and the lowering of discounts brought me to open up my wallet. Hais. Thinking back, I should have just insisted no, because it could have given me a lower price / allow me to escape somehow.

THE SERVICE: Firstly, I just want to say: if you are very bad at saying no to people, pls pls stay FAR AWAY from these types of shops (Tokyo bust, Yun Nan, etc.) THEY WILL SUCK YOUR MONEY DRY. I thought I was good at saying no, and look where I turned up. Eventually the thought of losing more money just made me fake a smile and just blatantly say "no" or "no money" even as they tried again and again. All sorts of tactics one.

Secondly, honey. Their service is the definition of two-faced. When you are still "of use" to them, they will stay in the room the entire time and talk to you, make jokes, compliment you and all sorts of "close friends" actions. But when your sessions are ending and you won't seem to budge, they will still try, but not so much anymore. The difference is staggering. Sometimes I wonder how they sleep at night. I thought I made friends with 2 of the specialists, "Mary" and "Susan" (who was apparently Mary's supervisor), but towards the end it was just Mary doing the standard procedure and then leaving, probably to attend to "richer" customers. Another thing to note, they would always "tag-team" to sell me packages. The service got to a point where even when the 15min timer was up, it would take a while before anyone even came in to do the next step. So basically, they're friends who would use you.

DOES THE SERVICE WORK? Oh, this is the real bummer. They had promised so much and made you full of hopes, but the truth is, YOU NEED A LOT OF MONEY TO EVEN REACH A TINY BIT OF WHAT THEY PROCLAIM. Even then, it may not even be permanent, I'm not sure � � ♀ didn't manage to even reach that stage. Like $2k just to have your bust lifted up by a few cm. (and FYI, rn it's alr going back to its original position, meaning no results at all.) Imagine if you want to do until you are happy with it, prob costs $50k+ or smth. At that point you might as well go for surgery. I guess the lucky thing is their treatments actually do nothing rather than cause harm to your body. They claim a lot of stuff which you can't exactly find the evidence for online, which makes their treatments quite dubious as well. Like, they would massage a collagen spread on your breast, but from what I've seen, collagen cant be absorbed into your breasts like that. Im not sure, pls correct if I'm wrong.

FINAL THOUGHTS: Just be careful of them esp now since they would prob need to make up for their loss of income from not opening for so many months. They're probably like starved vultures at this point. I'm glad I escaped from them already, but feels bad for those who are still stuck there.

If you still want to patronise them, just remember: they are NOT your friends. Just treat them like normal staff doing their jobs. I cannot stress this enough. Also, always remember to ask for your free

gifts!! Happened to me on the first day, one specialist promised me an item, but she just nice left her shift before I was done. I just told them XX promised me this, and they gave it to me. Don't be paiseh, those items don't cost much to them anw and you fully deserve it. Lastly, just keep refusing. They will be able to ALWAYS give u a better deal, especially if you still have a lot of sessions left. That's it. You can ask me anything else too and I'll try my best to answer.
