We are delighted to welcome you to our event, that has been designed, planned and executed by our final year Fashion Promotion students. We invite you to be inspired by the creative fashion films we are screening tonight and revel in our Fashion Revival event.
When discussing a theme it was made clear that the focus needed to be on revival. Looking at how much our lives have changed in recent years and how we have embraced new ways of working and connecting. We translated this further to look at culture, nostalgia and trends that we start to see returning as a force for joy. We want to celebrate the old and the new, the now and the future. We encourage you to take what you wish from our setting and the event as a whole to be interpreted in a way that relates to you.
The BA (Hons) Fashion Promotion and Marketing course here at UCLan attracts driven, motivated and passionate students who want to tap into our 50 years’ worth of experience as a centre of excellence for Fashion education. Our strong industry links and the opportunity to spend a year in industry gives
this course a competitive edge and ensures that future employers will sit up and take notice of our students.
The Fashion Promotion arena is filled with opportunity and the course allows students to tailor their degree to fit into their own interests, strengths and ambitions.
As a Fashion area we work with many organisations and businesses collaborating on projects and events in our community. For this Fashion extravaganza, our students wanted to support good causes and highlight some of the issues that a ect many people of any age, gender or background. These final year promotion students have worked hard with enthusiasm and dedication and I would like to thank them all for their hard work and commitment.
Enjoy the evening and thank you for joining us.

This year, our annual fashion production is in aid of Luv Preston. An amazing charity based in Preston that aims to help people by providing support, shelter and food.
Luv Preston was launched in 2009 as a charity to provide support to the vulnerable and homeless. Their facilities include a homeless drop-in and providing food parcels.
Food poverty is an increasing concern for many people this year and Luv Preston aims to relieve some of the pressures that come along with this.
With the help of volunteers, they deliver food parcels to houses every week.
Luv Preston hold a weekly homeless drop-in every Tuesday night from 6:15pm - 7:30pm where they provide people with warm shelter, a meal and snacks as well as providing advice and support.
We are proud to support Luv Preston and are extremely grateful for your donations to go towards helping this wonderful charity.
