CONGRATULATIONS!

Project Manager of the Year continued

“As the owner of People Come First Construction Group, I am proud to nominate Mario Poposki for Project Manager of the Year. Mario consistently goes above and beyond to ensure that every project is completed to the highest standards. He is always willing to help, never says no, and brings a friendly, motivating presence to the job site--I’ve never encountered any HR issues with him. Last year, Mario’s team was the most productive and profitable of all our teams. His custom work is exceptional. His team received 22 GuildQuality surveys, and every single one of them earned a 100% customer satisfaction rating. In total, they completed 30 projects, and Mario personally received 26 five-star Google Reviews, the most out of anyone in the company. Given that our company has nearly 100 full-time employees across five divisions, this is a remarkable achievement. It’s especially impressive considering one of our divisions, Rock Electric, completes hundreds of jobs every year. Clearly, Mario excels at creating a five-star experience for our customers. Mario’s leadership extends beyond the worksite. He motivated me to invest in a fitness room for our company, where he leads CrossFit sessions for his team and others. His commitment to physical health has paid off—his team reported zero injuries last year. He promotes both safety and well-being, ensuring that his team stays in peak condition to do their best work. Mark Poposki’s dedication, expertise, and leadership make him an outstanding candidate for Certified Contractors Network Project Manager of the Year.”

RYAN SCOTT

Woods Roofing, Inc.

“Ryan Scott has demonstrated extraordinary dedication, adaptability, and leadership in his role as Project Manager. Having spent three years successfully managing roofing projects, Ryan embraced a new challenge in 2024 when our company expanded into residential siding. With little prior experience in this area, he took it upon himself to learn everything he could—studying best practices, mastering installation techniques, and effectively managing siding crews. Unlike roofing projects, which are typically completed in a single day, siding requires meticulous attention to detail and extended project timelines. Ryan not only adapted to these

new demands but excelled, ensuring that both homeowners and crews received outstanding support throughout each project. His ability to learn quickly, problem-solve under pressure, and maintain a positive attitude even in uncertain situations has been instrumental in our company’s success. Through Ryan’s dedication and leadership, our siding division grew from just a few installations in 2023 to an impressive $1.5 million in revenue in 2024. His commitment to excellence has resulted in satisfied customers, productive crews who respect and appreciate his leadership, and a thriving new division within our company. Ryan’s enthusiasm, work ethic, and ability to take on challenges headfirst have made an undeniable impact on our growth. We are incredibly proud of his achievements and grateful for his contributions. Without his efforts, we would not have realized the success of our siding division this year. For these reasons, Ryan is truly deserving of the Project Manager of the Year award.”

He has achieved what once seemed impossible transitioning our founder, Frank Istueta, almost entirely out of production while delivering exceptional results and providing complete peace of mind. His hunger to learn, especially from CCN, is unparalleled, and he applies that knowledge across all departments, elevating the entire company. His leadership has brought client complaints down to zero and through his efforts he has generated more Google reviews in months than we have in years. He’s also fostered a culture of recognition for our team. For example, he created custom Istueta Roofing branded pins of each of our five core values, and he awards them to team members publicly when they embrace a core value in their work. These core value pins are worn proudly by our team. Beyond work, he strengthens our team’s bond through weekly breakfasts and team-building events, earning the trust and admiration of even our longest-standing team members. JEFF SKOWRONSKI

Stan’s Roofing & Siding

“In his second year as our Production Manager, Jeff significantly contributed to our success by helping to increase our net profit by 12.1% from 2023 to 2024. Given the responsibility to schedule projects to meet weekly and monthly revenue goals, he excelled. He understood the importance of maintaining a well-managed backlog of work to help with these goals also. Jeff thrived in his role, not only by interviewing and hiring for the “new” production department but also by making tough decisions when necessary to help individuals pursue their goals elsewhere. Jeff is a member of our Leadership team and has helped guided our growth and future planning. Without Jeff’s dedication and leadership, Stan’s would not have achieved a 56% increase in revenue in 2024.”

Administrative Professional of the Year

AMANDA DEMMING

“Amanda deserves to win this award due to her ability to learn new processes and adhere strictly to them. She focuses a large part of her day as our production/sales firewall for contracts. She reviews all incoming jobs for Absolute’s SOPs and raises a red flag if something seems off, which is no easy feat with the volume we had Q4 2024 due to a hurricane. She has truly stepped out of her comfort zone last year by assisting all walk-in clients that come into the main office with a positive attitude and always found a way to offer help for them, even if she wasn’t the one giving them the answers. We look forward to all the things Amanda will learn and help with in 2025!”

Without hesitation, Natalie jumped in with determination and an incredible work ethic, quickly mastering her role and exceeding our expectations. She now manages all our accounts payable, job costing, time tracking, and payroll—a workload filled with countless details. Remarkably, she

handles it all with precision, rarely making mistakes. And if she does, she always has a solution ready before I even notice. Her dedication has taken our bookkeeping to a new level, providing me with the cleanest profit-and-loss statements and balance sheets I’ve ever had. Natalie works quietly behind the scenes, but her contributions are instrumental to our company’s success. Her attention to detail, initiative, and ability to keep everything running smoothly make her truly deserving of the Administrative Professional of the Year award. She embodies excellence and professionalism, and we couldn’t be more grateful for her!

RICH SHROKA

Absolute Aluminum

Rich is the ideal candidate for Administrative Professional of the Year, demonstrating exceptional innovation, effectiveness, collaboration, and dedication to excellence. His ability to foster strong relationships across all departments and with customers has set a new standard for service and excellence. Through his unwavering dedication, he has not only contributed extraordinary value to the company but has also played an integral role in facilitating CCN processes, making him a true difference-maker. STELLA LE

Pacific Exteriors LLC

“Our nominee for administrative professional of the year is Stella Le, our contracts processor. She started out working in our call center and has been working in the office longer than any other current office worker. In addition to knowing the ‘ins and outs’ of every department, she has the deepest knowledge and understanding of how our company works and has played a big part in all our recent process improvements. She has displayed an extensive knowledge of our products and services that is unmatched by some of our own Project Managers. Her knowledge of the industry, the company, and each individual department has helped to keep communication and knowledge flowing freely, and she knows how to spot administrative issues before they even start. Our office functions BECAUSE of Stella.”

TAYLOR SEXTON

“Taylor is truly deserving of the Admin Professional of the Year award. In just under a year with us, her impact at Hutcherson has been both visible and deeply felt. She is the definition of a team player—always looking for ways to support her colleagues and take on additional responsibilities. Her work ethic is unmatched, and she has no hesitation in holding others accountable, whether its ensuring receipts are submitted, properly uploading paperwork for permits, or making sure the sales team stays on top of customer files. Beyond her dedication and attention to detail, Taylor brings an incredible heart to our team. We are so grateful to have her, and we can’t imagine Hutcherson without her!”

Office Manager of the Year

Veteran’s Choice Contracting

“When Cheryl joined the Veterans Choice family in 2023, we thought we were getting an Office Manager. What we didn’t realize was that we were hiring the Swiss Army Knife of leadership, efficiency, and problem-solving. Cheryl has taken “above and beyond” to a whole new level—whether we asked her to or not. Starting with Veterans Choice when we were a modest $600k operation, Cheryl has been the glue that holds our growing team together. She taught herself how to build budgets, keep the financials in check, and somehow managed to keep all of us in line—a feat that deserves its own award. From juggling multiple roles (bookkeeper, planner, travel agent, gatekeeper, and “office mom”) to taking pride in responsibilities that aren’t even hers, Cheryl has shown us how to be a leader without ever breaking a sweat. (Okay, maybe a little sweat, but she hid it well.) And let’s not forget Cheryl’s knack for handling surprises. From last-minute tasks to multiple business acquisitions that weren’t even on her radar, she faces it all with a smile—or at least without throwing something at me. Her ability to show up every day ready for whatever curveballs come her way is nothing short of superhuman. Cheryl’s hard work and dedication have earned her the next step: CFO. Her two-year plan includes working remotely from a sunny beach while we hold down the fort here in the snow (lucky her). If anyone deserves the title of Office Manager of the Year, it’s Cheryl. She embodies our core values, keeps the team afloat, and is the ultimate example of why every office needs a Cheryl. Congratulations, Mom. You’ve earned this (and then some).”

KATIE JOHNSON

Save Energy Co.

“Katie is a strong-willed individual with a bubbly personality and infectious charm. She has been instrumental as our new office manager. She is not only capable and efficient at her job and all her duties. She has been part of our steering committee. I consider her input invaluable regarding the future of this company. Lastly, and I cannot overstate how important this is, Katie brings the right attitude and can do spirt and lifts up everyone around her. I cannot think of anyone I would rather have as our office manager.”

MARIA DELEON

Mr. Roofing

“I’m nominating Maria De Leon for Office Manager of the Year for a few reasons. She is one of the most kind, joyful, and supportive people I’ve ever worked with. She always has a smile on, bringing positive energy into every room she walks into. She’s always eager to help find a solution to a situation. She always puts a smile on my face whenever I’m in the office. She’s just an awesome human! I’m truly grateful to have an office manager like her and couldn’t ask for anything more! Thank you, Maria!”

Office Manager of the Year continued

MARIE SALAZAR HOFFMAN

Roofing

& More, Inc.

“With a business such as ours, most of our staff whether it be Sales or Production, spend most of their time in the field. The Office Manager is the backbone of a small business as they are the ones keeping watch over all daily functions including the call center setting appointments and the production coordinator scheduling jobs and satisfying customers. Year after year Marie has shown a true dedication to seeing the teams within our company win on a daily business. She consistently watches over company processes and ensures everyone has what they need to succeed while also holding team members accountable which is crucial in achieving efficient operations. What makes her the Office Manager of the Year specifically in 2024 is how she used her years of experience and wisdom to manage the office through several challenges. Early in the year we saw a huge drop in leads and Marie was key to salvaging every opportunity and using her wizardry to set appointments on ‘older’ opportunities which many later converted to sales. Another significant challenge Marie managed us through was turnover in key positions within the call center and production coordinator roles. During those times of transition, she had to take on those duties and perform those functions herself while also performing all finance functions, bookkeeping, and Human Resources. Lastly, and maybe even more challenging, was the beginning of transitioning to a new CRM that we went live with Jan 1, 2025. Marie was an integral part in ensuring that we were thinking carefully through our current processes and how they would be accomplished with the new software. At the end of the day, if we were to hand out superlatives at our company, she would absolutely win the title of ‘Most likely to have an answer to any question!’; and this is because she knows our business better than anyone!”

RACHEL SCOTT

Woods Roofing, Inc.

“For nearly a decade, Rachel Scott has been the backbone of our company, playing a critical role in our growth, organization, and daily operations. As our office manager, Rachel has not only helped streamline our internal processes but has also designed and implemented many of the systems and computer programs we use to run our business efficiently. During periods of rapid expansion, she has been instrumental in developing new workflows to ensure seamless operations. She works closely with our sales team, ensuring they have the resources they need to succeed, and over the past year, she has played a major role in optimizing our production department—often operating as if she were the production manager herself. Rachel is also highly attuned to the needs of our call center, proactively assisting with scheduling, setting appointments, and answering questions to ensure smooth communication between departments. She also supports our marketing efforts and serves as the personal assistant to the company owner, making her the ultimate go-to person for any challenge or need.”

TO THE NOMIINEES

Office Manager of the Year continued

SYDNEY NICHOLS

Design Windows & Doors, Inc.

“Sydney has been with us a little over a year now, and I honestly cannot imagine the company without her. She exemplifies our core values and demonstrates to the team what it is to be a team player. She rarely takes credit for her wins. Rather, she is quick to remind everyone that it takes a team effort to achieve goals. She understands our company mission and vision and routinely goes above and beyond to ensure our customers and team members are cared for. She has implemented systems and processes that have increased efficiency, saving the company a small fortune and allowing us to provide even better customer service. She is a perpetual student, always eager to learn and develop new skills. She has singlehandedly bridged the gap between production and operations. I feel like the production team feels like part of the team now, not just a group of ‘installers’ on the outside of the organization. Sydney thinks outside of the box, and for the most part I only find out about a problem or upset customer after she has solved the issue. She rarely involves me, as she is more than capable of putting out fires and navigating difficult customers. The fruit of her skills was made evident to me when I attended Winter Conference. As the owner, I often find myself fielding calls and dealing with issues while away. This makes it very difficult to remain present and really take in the knowledge from conference. But not this time. I was worried about three days in, as I had not heard a peep from the office. So, I called Sydney to check in, and I found that all was under control. Sydney encouraged me to ‘relax and enjoy the conference’, which I did! I cannot begin to describe her positive impact on the organization, and for that reason I pray you’ll consider her for Office Manager of the Year. She certainly is deserving of it!”

Salesperson of the Year

CHARLES SHANNON

“Charles came to our business ‘green.’ After working with a coach, he left the automotive service industry and decided to go after a sales position within a home renovation company like ours. Charles was completely green to the industry, sales in general, and the CCN process. Charles attended the Sales Bootcamp in 2023. Charles is a reliable and trustworthy member of our sales team. We can always trust him to follow the process with integrity. We can always count on him to treat our customers with respect and professionalism no matter what they throw at him! What makes Charles Salesperson of the year is his unswerving commitment to improve and become a true Wizard of his craft. Piece by piece, step by step, Charles has learned all aspects of what we do and how we can present it and sell it; all coming from zero experience. At the end of his first full year at Roofing & More Inc he had sold $543,665 with a closing ratio of 31%. At the end of 2024 Charles finished at $974,041 with a closing ratio of 38%. On top of that he had raised his average sale by 10%! With his continued dedication and consistency, we are looking forward to 2025 and seeing Charles sell well over $1million; earning himself a great quality of life and helping Roofing & More achieve its goals as well. As Managers and/or Business owners I think we can all agree that finding and keeping a committed Salesperson, who consistently improves, and his 100% reliable is a major challenge in our industry! We have found that in Charles.”

Salesperson of the Year continued

CHRIS LISTON PCF Group

“As the owner of People Come First Construction Group, I proudly nominate Chris Liston for Certified Contractors Network Salesperson of the Year. Chris came to us from car sales, and after his first three months, I wasn’t sure if he’d make it, as he hadn’t made a sale yet. However, he proved everyone wrong by skyrocketing from $350k in sales to an impressive $3.2 million. His goal for 2025 is to hit $6 million, and based on his outstanding performance last year, I have no doubt he’ll achieve it. Chris has an incredible attitude, consistently adheres to our process, and even offers valuable suggestions for improvement. He’s professional, never complains about price changes, and takes criticism as an opportunity to grow. He’s already developing his own assets and drawings; they’re so good that we almost don’t even need renderings for them. He faces challenges with a positive attitude and a smile, even when we need to take a commission due to his own error. Chris has outsold everyone in his first year and is truly two salespeople in one—his drive and dedication to sales are nothing short of exemplary. He is an inspiration to the entire team and fully deserves this recognition.”

JOSHUA KINDER

Mr. Roofing

“We proudly nominate Joshua Kinder for the CCN Wizard Awards – Rookie Salesperson of the Year for his exceptional dedication, rapid growth, and mastery of the CCN Sales Process. Since joining in June, Joshua has brought positive energy, problem-solving skills, and unwavering support to both clients and teammates. He has followed the process with such discipline that he consistently delivers a one-call experience, a rare feat for a rookie. His last quarter results speak volumes—$11,536 lead value, $35,249 average contract, and a $2.5 million sales pace—demonstrating his relentless commitment to success. Joshua’s enthusiasm and execution have set a new standard, making him an undeniable choice for this award.”

LARRY HELGESON Pacific Exteriors LLC

“Larry Helgeson is the best possible choice for Salesperson of the Year. He has a proven track record of consistently demonstrating his exceptional sales skills, and exceeding customer expectations. Larry has a knack for identifying a customer’s needs and crafting custom solutions that suit their preferences. His dedication to delivering outstanding results and his ability to close deals and generate revenue is unparalleled.”

MIKE BRAGG Contract Exteriors

“This nominee is the epitome of dedication and professionalism. He starts every day at 5 AM, committing to both his physical and mental health, which translates directly into his sales performance. Having changed careers with little prior knowledge of this industry, he has quickly become the wizard, overcoming challenges with grit and determination. His ability to not only learn but master his craft is impressive, and as a result, he consistently exceeds expectations. His performance on sales calls is exceptional, and any competitor would be hard-pressed to match his drive, work ethic, and results. This level of commitment is why he truly deserves this award.”

Salesperson of the Year continued

NEIL PATEL

Stan’s Roofing & Siding

“Neil has proven to be an invaluable asset to our team, achieving an impressive $1.3 million in sales within just 10 months. His rapid mastery of the roofing and siding industry, coupled with his adeptness in the sales process, has been key to his swift success. Neil consistently contributes to our weekly sales and monthly staff meetings, and his participation in our monthly S.R.A.S. nights foster great camaraderie. Additionally, Neil has helped in supporting Luke with the development of our sales team. Neil exemplifies the qualities of a great salesperson, team player, and an all-around outstanding individual.”

NICK FEOLA

Absolute Aluminum

“I am pleased to nominate Nick Feola for Sales Representative of the Year. Over the past year, Nick has consistently demonstrated exceptional sales performance, closing $3.2 million in sales with an outstanding close rate of 56%. Nick accomplished this close rate by selling 139 projects out of 252 measure calls while maintaining an NSLI of $7,191. This is no small feat, especially in such a competitive industry, and it speaks to his skill, dedication, and strategic approach to sales while utilizing the CCN sales process. Beyond his impressive numbers, Nick has proven to be an invaluable asset to the Absolute Aluminum team. He regularly goes above and beyond to support his colleagues, offering guidance and sharing insights to help others succeed. Nick’s ability to not only achieve personal success but also elevate those around him is a true testament to his character and work ethic. Nick’s passion for what he does is evident in every interaction he has with clients and team members alike. He consistently builds strong relationships, ensuring that customers are satisfied and that projects run smoothly. His drive for excellence and his commitment to Absolute Aluminum’s success make him a standout candidate for Sales Representative of the Year. Nick did not attend a CCN Sales Bootcamp in 2024 but is excited about attending the one in Baltimore the 2nd week of February. I wholeheartedly recommend Nick Feola for this recognition, and I am confident that he will continue to make significant contributions to the company’s growth and success.”

Beyond his personal success, Ryan has proven to be an exceptional leader and mentor. He embraces a team-first mindset, generously sharing his expertise and strategies to elevate those around him. One such strategies is giving a gift card to the homeowner to go to dinner while he measures, does a rendering and builds their proposal. He quickly mastered the 5P Sales Process from CCN and has been instrumental in helping his teammates refine their own approaches. He actively studies his craft listen to Rilla, reading books and working with peers on word tracks. His peers don’t just respect his results they respect his willingness to coach, encourage, and lead by example. One of our top salespeople described Ryan best: “You are the snowplow” I will follow right behind you. His relentless drive and professionalism have pushed our entire sales team to new heights, with many exceeding their own personal bests. Thanks to Ryan’s influence, our team had its most successful year ever. Ryan embodies excellence, leadership, and innovation in sales. His contributions have been nothing short of transformational”

STEVE MCCLAY

Valley Roofing & Exteriors

“This past year presented challenges that made sales harder than ever, with tough competition putting us to the test. Yet, through it all, Steve stayed focused. He kept grinding, consistently demonstrating to customers because we are the best contractor in town. Steve’s commitment to the process and his diligent follow-up with prospects set him apart. He approached every opportunity with confidence, always assuming the sale was his—and it often was! We are proud of his perseverance, dedication, and ability to deliver exceptional results in a demanding market. Steve’s efforts truly speak for themselves, making him a standout choice for Salesperson of the Year.”

WILLIAM MASSIE Outback Deck

“William started off the year with a plan to work hard and have his most successful year. He knew he was going to become a father for the first time in 2024, he would need to take care of his pregnant wife and be out of work for at least a month to care for his newborn. On a 11-month work year he did more volume than a single Rep has done in the history of Outback. He worked hard and showed a lot of grit.”

Sales Manager of the Year

CAMDEN DOWHOWER

PCF Group

“As the owner of People Come First Construction Group, I wholeheartedly nominate Camden Dowhower for Certified Contractors Network Sales Manager of the Year. When he first started, he was the sales guy. Conventional wisdom says you shouldn’t promote your top salesperson to Sales Manager—but taking that chance with Camden has been one of our best decisions. Since stepping into this role, he has exceeded all sales goals by $2.5 million while continuing to run sales appointments. He manages a team of 6-14 salespeople, seamlessly handled our entire consolidation process without hesitation, and takes the initiative to research new coaching strategies to elevate our sales team. Typically, sales and production teams clash, but not with Camden—everyone respects and appreciates him. When price increases are needed, he skillfully coaches the team, integrates our monthly processes, and enforces policies and procedures. Every week, he personally verifies numbers to ensure accuracy. His impact speaks for itself with a 27% closing rate (up 4% from last year). Camden is proactive and eager to learn. He leads with integrity, enthusiasm, and an unwavering commitment to our company vision. Camden has truly crushed this role, and we are beyond grateful for his leadership.”

JOSEPH PETERSON RGS Exteriors

“Joseph Peterson has proven himself as an exceptional leader and Sales Manager at RGS Exteriors, driving both individual and team success throughout 2024. Promoted to Sales Manager in late 2023, Joseph has seamlessly transitioned from top sales performer to an outstanding mentor and motivator, consistently upholding the values and goals of our organization. Under Joseph’s leadership, RGS Exteriors achieved a record-breaking total sales volume of $14,052,686 in 2024, far exceeding the original sales goal of $12 million. This represents a remarkable 70.6% increase from the $8,236,584 in total sales in 2023. Additionally, the average job size grew from $8,885 to $14,777 (a 66.3% increase), and NSLI rose from $3,001 to $4,959 (a 65.3% increase). Perhaps most notably, under Joseph’s guidance, the team transitioned from financing only 10% of jobs in 2023 to over 50% in 2024**, Managing a team of nine salespeople, including five new hires in 2023, Joseph has not only trained but also inspired his team to excel. He is a believer in the CCN Sales process, and the CCN network. You will always find him engaged asking questions at CCN events, learning and squeezing every drop of value from networking, so he can bring it back to his team to help them grow. Joe ensures consistent performance through weekly sales meetings, ongoing review of sales metrics, product and process training, and personalized role-play scenarios to refine his team’s skills. Additionally, he has leveraged Rilla in his meetings to regularly review, share, and discuss the strengths of each sales call. It is not surprising that our team buy in to Rilla is so high, with a nearly 100% utilization rate. We use it on every call, every time. Not only do they celebrate great sales from fellow reps, but they will go and listen to that appointment, to try and learn from each other! When you have a team that meets regularly, celebrates often, and knows how to succeed, you are blessed with a culture like here at RGS”

He hired and trained two of the team members, and one of them achieved over $1.3 million in sales within his first 10 months of selling. Luke’s team consistently broke company records, including achieving the first-ever million-dollar sales month. Despite a challenging first quarter, Luke remained committed to the sales process, focused on training his team, and hired two new sales reps, turning the situation around. RANDY HANN Contract Exteriors

“Randy Hann founded Contract Exteriors over 15 years ago, and has built this company into what it is today, the #1 Replacement Remodeling Contractor in the state of South Carolina (as named by Remodeling Magazine). But his ability to grow an industry leading company is not why we are nominating Randy as Best Boss. We are nominating him because that very same passion and investment that he puts into his company, he also puts into his employees, his team. He makes us want to be better, and he gives us the tools and mentoring to accomplish that. From Shawn Feurer’s Inner Blueprint to XP3’s Personality and Communication Systems and Training, Randy has provided each of us with the tools we need to grow, both professionally and personally. He genuinely cares about each one of us. When he first comes into the office he doesn’t ask “When will this project be finished?” or “What is going on with that customer?” He asks, “How are you doing today?” “How is your son feeling?” “How was your weekend?” While he has been purposefully structuring our team to give us more autonomy, he is still actively in touch with every aspect of the business and provides guidance and leadership when it is needed. Somehow, he manages to have a 10,000-foot view of things seeing the big picture but still knows the minutiae of the day-to-day business! To sum it all up, we can honestly say that we are better at what we do and who we are (both professionally and personally) because of Randy Hann.”

SHAINE MIER

Veteran’s Choice Contracting

“Shaine is truly an exceptional leader and an inspiration to work for. When he welcomes someone onto his team, he fully invests in their growth—not just financially or through opportunities, but with unwavering dedication to their personal and professional development. While many leaders ask their employees to buy into their vision, Shaine takes a different approach—he creates leaders by believing in and investing in them. He fosters a culture of creativity and innovation, encouraging his team to take ownership and contribute their ideas. Through his leadership, he empowers us to push past our limits with the right mindset, accountability, and by leading through action. Beyond his role as a business owner, Shaine is an incredible person. He is a devoted family man who leads with integrity and commitment in all aspects of his life. His dedication to work-life balance is evident—he ensures that our team never has to choose between professional success and being present for our families. Whether it’s leaving a few minutes early for a child’s school play or taking our kids to a game, he supports us as both employees and individuals. Personally, Shaine has challenged me to grow into the professional I always aspired to be. He recognized my potential, encouraged me to step beyond my comfort zone, and helped me overcome my own limiting beliefs. By simply listening, believing in my vision, and providing guidance, he has helped me shape my dream career. It is truly an honor to work for Shaine and be a part of his team. His leadership, vision, and genuine care for his employees make him more than deserving of this recognition.”

He’s a pretty good time at our office parties as well!”

STEVE RENNEKAMP

Energy Swing Windows

“We all know Steve. He has had an amazing mark on CCN and its members. Steve is deserving, and I am sure you will all agree. His humility will lead him to want to bow out of the competition when he hears of his nomination. THAT IS HOGWASH BECAUSE STEVE IS MORE than DESERVING! He has been in the home improvement industry for over 55 years. He is a mentor and innovator here at Energy Swing Windows and Total Basement Finishing. His empathy enables him to understand all the various departments of our business just as well as he understands customers and his co-workers. Even if she is having a bad day, she will still have the best attitude and get the job done. She is always willing to go above and beyond everywhere she can and keeps employee safety and happiness at the top of her priority list. Most companies think of HR as their police, but it is almost the opposite for us here at Pacific Exteriors. She brings an energy and attitude into the office that is unmatched in positivity and can turn any disastrous situation into a solved problem. GREG BARRON Burr Roofing, Siding, & Windows

“We hired Greg two years ago with high hopes, never did we imagine he could have such a profound impact on our organization. Life before Greg was totally ad-hoc, we were the world’s best arsonist firefighters! Hired as a production coordinator Greg was charged with pulling permits, producing work orders, coordinating vendors, etc. because we were too busy running around like chickens with our heads cut-off to do any consistent organized communication. Greg leaned on the variety of industries and positions he’d previously held, the most relevant of course being his time as a special needs educator. Greg rolled up his sleeves and never complained - he went to task creating order out of chaos. Today Greg is our operations Manager overseeing two direct reports, coordinating will all third-party vendors, managing our warehouse & fleet maintenance, and dispatching all our installers. He is consistently working ahead of the game so that everyone else has the information and/or materials required for production to deliver an outstanding installation. Beyond the “nuts & bolts” of Greg’s job duties he has positively changed the lives of our team members, our clients, and me. Our installers have repeatedly praised the consistency & reliability of dispatching, some suggesting they don’t even use an alarm clock anymore because they can count on Greg’s 6:10 morning message. To suggest Greg is a likable guy would be a gross understatement. It’s not about likability though, it’s that Greg is always great to be around, on the best days and on the rough ones – “Greg, do you want a beer” – “I LOVE BEER.” Greg is a rock of voice and reason in the office, he’s the go to guy in the heat of the moment with his levelheaded thoughtfulness, Greg is truly the MVP of Burr 2024.”

LAURA VIDOZA Istueta Roofing

“Laura is a powerhouse of talent, initiative, and strategic thinking, elevating Istueta Roofing’s marketing to new heights. She takes immense pride in her work, ensuring every detail reflects the excellence our high-end clientele expects. With a rare blend of creativity, analytics, and execution, she has optimized every marketing dollar, spearheaded our most successful direct mail campaign which consists of handwritten postcards, and she’s grown our YouTube and social media presence with the right audience. Beyond marketing, she played a key role in launching our call center, managing and mentoring reps with outstanding results. Her leadership was also instrumental in making us the first and only Ludowici Elite Crown Roofer with a recognized clay tile showroom that is beautifully designed, setting a new industry standard. Laura’s dedication, ability to anticipate needs, and drive for continuous improvement make her an invaluable asset to our company and a standout among her peers.”

Company MVP of the Year continued

MATT WOODS

Woods Roofing, Inc.

“Matthew Woods has been an invaluable asset to our company, demonstrating exceptional leadership, sales expertise, and a deep commitment to the success of our team. As our lead salesman, Matthew achieved an outstanding $3.2 million in sales, setting a high standard for performance. Beyond his personal sales success, he serves as our active sales manager, mentoring and overseeing three additional salespeople. His training and strategic guidance directly contributed to a 15% increase in one team member’s close rate year over year. Matthew’s impact extends beyond sales—he plays a pivotal role in our marketing department, assisting with innovative strategies to reach new demographics and drive business growth. He also works closely with ownership on budgeting, revenue projections, and company-wide goal setting, acting as a de facto general manager. His leadership, dedication, and ability to step into any role necessary—whether assisting production, contributing new revenue ideas, or supporting community initiatives—make him an indispensable part of our organization. Matthew’s work ethic, strategic vision, and commitment to excellence make him truly deserving of the Most Valuable Player award.”

SAWYER GUINN

Roofing & More, Inc.

“At the beginning of 2024 we finally made the leap to hire a full-time Marketing Manager. We did not have a huge budget for this position, but we knew we needed to bring the control of Marketing in-house and have someone working on it every day to grow our business. Sawyer came to us with a great background and had done largely done Marketing for nonprofits, but had a hunger to be a part of a highly motivated for-profit business where he could get in and help it grow. He spent the first several months taking a deep dive in to what we were doing and what results we were achieving (or not.haha). We had seen a steady decline in leads in early 2024 and the analytics showed that overall consumer searches were down; meaning the available leads were down in our area. Once he had analyzed all aspects of our efforts, he began to make incremental changes to many aspects of our website, our Google presence, and our referral/repeat business. Slowly but surely, we began to see the results of his efforts and know how! Early summer as searches were still down, we saw our leads trending up. With his optimizations we had moved to one of the most ‘visible’ companies in our area; beating out companies 4-5x our size. By the numbers over a 90day period, we saw qualified leads grow by nearly 40%. Without leads there would have been no sales, and hence the Most Valuable Player! But there’s more! Not only has he far exceeded what we thought was possible Marketing wise within his first year with us, Sawyer is valuable to many other aspects of our business. He is a true team player that will step in wherever needed. You can catch him in the call center setting appointment if they need help. You can find him helping the sales team how to talk about our company and convey the value we offer. He is patient and willing to always listen and places a high value on building a culture in our company where people want to work! He is our MVP.”

COMPANY OF THE YEAR

G.M. Roth Design Remodeling

“G. M. Roth Design Remodeling deserves to be considered for the CCN Wizard Awards Company of the Year for its exceptional achievements in 2024. Despite facing lower-than-usual leads, the company exceeded its sales goals, with all six sales designers surpassing $1 million in new business. We also beat our production revenue targets, achieved a remarkable 51.2% GPM, and maintained outstanding client satisfaction, as reflected in GuildQuality scores and glowing Google reviews. The company improved client retention, reduced employee turnover, and strengthened community ties through increased volunteer efforts. Additionally, winning the Gold Award at the NHHBA Cornerstone Awards for a bathroom remodel over $100,000 highlights our industry leading design and production skills along with our commitment to excellence. All these accomplishments happened due to the dedication of our staff who had to endure the less-than-ideal conditions in our showroom, which had to be rebuilt from scratch after a devastating flood dumped 6’ of water into our building at the end of 2023. Without a showroom to host meetings and to show products our sales team had to be creative with technology and off-site meetings. Kudos to the entire team for working through adversity to crush our goals and make 2024 the best year ever in our 38-year history!”

RGS Exteriors

RGS Exteriors has demonstrated remarkable growth, achieving a 16.6% increase in revenue from $13,408,000 in 2023 to $15,600,000 in 2024. RGS has spent years moving away from builder contract work, and last year we made a giant leap forward with a remarkable 89.4% increase in retail sales, rising from $8,236,584 in 2023 to $14,052,00 in 2024. With a strong focus on financing, we went from under 20% of our jobs being financed to over 50% of our jobs in 2024. Maintaining our profitability remains a primary focus as we are consistently over 15% net profit year over year, despite aggressive growth initiatives and a strategic increase in marketing investment. We attribute our sustained success to the disciplined adoption of CCN best practices, meticulous financial planning, and the integration of cutting-edge technologies in sales, marketing, and production management. Our ability to scale profitably while upholding our core values of old-school craftsmanship, accountability, and customer satisfaction sets us apart as a true industry leader. For nearly two decades, RGS Exteriors has been an active participant in CCN events, investing heavily in continuous education and professional development. We proudly send multiple team members to CCN events and training sessions, ensuring that our team is aligned with the highest standards in the industry. With a steadfast leadership team, a structured and scalable business model, and an unwavering focus on quality and innovation, RGS Exteriors exemplifies what it means to be **CCN’s Company of the Year.”

Stan’s Roofing & Siding

“2024 was a ceiling breakthrough year for Stan’s, not only in revenue but, more importantly, the bottom line. We went from -8.7% Net in 2023 to 11.22% Net in 2024. We achieved this by embracing our Company’s Purpose, “To Provide our employees and customers the best company to be part of,” empowering our Team with purpose, and driving exceptional results. With our managers leading their teams, knowing their scorecards and goals, they reached and exceeded them. Everyone worked diligently to make Stan’s a great, profitable Company. Throughout the year, during our monthly staff meetings, the Team was challenged to open their mindset to bigger, grander things—not only in monetary terms but also in self-belief. Together as a Company we are eagerly waiting to add on to the team to blow out 2025 and continue to raise that bottom line even more. Thrive in ‘25! Let’s Go!”
