The right fuels for maximum efficiency Certas Energy offers a variety of fuel options to meet the needs of any business. If you need advice on exactly the right type of fuel for a particular application, please speak to one of our dedicated customer team members who will be happy to help.

Diesel Diesel, also known as white diesel or derv is our standard diesel used for road-going cars, vans and trucks. We supply high quality Ultra Low Sulphur Diesel (ULSD) which has a lower sulphur content and offers reduced CO2 emissions, less smoke output, improved engine protection and better economy.

Gas oil Offered at a lower duty than regular diesel, gas oil (also known as red diesel) is suitable for all your off-road machinery. Whether you need it in bulk or barrels we can deliver direct to your door.

Kerosene This low sulphur fuel is the most common home heating oil in the UK, used by the vast majority of oil-fired central heating systems. Kerosene is also known as 28-Second heating oil, burning oil and kerosene 28. We can deliver from 500 litres up to 5000 litres or in 20 litre pails for those little emergencies.

Ultra35 Heating Oil

Ultra35 is Certas Energy’s own brand of commercial heating oil. It is a cost effective substitute for gas oil when used in any heat generating device. With low sulphur content, Ultra35 is a clean burning heating oil, ideal for applications such as grain drying.

Specialist fuels We now supply a range of specialist fuels, including renewable heating fuels to reduce CO2 emissions and biofuel blends that meet the Road Transport Fuel Obligation.

Our coverage includes Key Fuels and UK Fuels sites, offering you the largest multi-branded network for commercial vehicles in the UK. Unlike some other providers, we are not an agent but a fuel distributor which allows us to leverage our buying power to get the best price for you. We’ll work with you to create a package that suits your individual needs, giving you competitive and flexible deals and we only charge for the diesel you draw from the pump.

Bunker line If your business can economise on your fuel consumption through bulk purchasing, we offer our bunker line service. This is a fast, simple and low-cost method of buying diesel fuel in bulk volumes of between 5,000 and 500,000 litres at any one time. Flexibility and transparency underpin this offering and you can choose to order via the spot market price or through a single supplier contract.

Bunker sites We have a growing network of company owned bunker sites, with over 30 locations across the UK, ideal if you operate LCV, HGV or large fleets. As an added benefit for site users, we offer a one pence per litre reduction on all diesel purchases when refuelling at our bunker sites with a Certas Energy Fuel Card. Additionally, at many sites AdBlue and gas oil is available at fixed prices.

Tanks

Fuel monitoring

Whether for the farm or your business, we have a fuel tank to suit. We can provide bunded tanks and durable dispensing tanks; ensuring fuel is always readily available on site and kept safe and secure. We also offer a variety of tank accessories including fuel gauges and tank locks.

Our fuel monitoring system allows you to focus on your business, while it keeps a close eye on your fuel. Equipped with the latest in fuel monitoring technology, the unit reads the fuel level in your tank and communicates the data directly to a mobile phone or email, so you can conveniently manage stock levels.

LPG cylinders

AdBlue

New to the Certas Energy fuel range is LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas). No matter what your LPG cylinder need, just give us a call and we can arrange delivery via our sister company, Flogas. To make your life even easier, LPG can be ordered at the same time you order your fuel.

If your machinery’s engines are fitted with SCR catalysts, then you will need AdBlue to meet the standards for Euro 5 and Euro 6 diesel emissions. Our AdBlue is ISO 22241 compliant and available in a variety of packs including jerry cans, IBCs and bulk.

Additives Our fuel additives are specifically engineered to protect and enhance the performance of your tanks, boilers and engines. Additives can resolve many actual and potential problems of storing fuels.
