Earlier this year six CES Ltd Schools participated in the Pilot of the PeopleBench Platform, that we had access to as part of our Workforce Strategy Partnership.
The PeopleBench platform allows schools to track and take action on workforce resilience (defined as sustainable wellbeing + sustainable performance at work). This is an easy to use survey which is backed by academic rigor based on the Resilience@Work psychometric scale (McEwan 2011) which is used worldwide.
265 staff completed the Resilience Tracker survey in May. The Resilience Score from those surveys showed that their overall resilience is at benchmark within education as well as the average working person.
The pilot school data tells us that, out of the seven factors that make up overall resilience, our top three strengths are:
Living Authentically, Knowing and holding onto your personal values, deploying your strengths, and having a good level of emotional awareness and regulation.
Finding Your Calling, Having work that offers purpose and a sense of belonging. Aligning work with your core values and beliefs.
Building Networks, Developing and maintaining the personal and professional support networks you need at home and at work in order to perform well in your job.
If you would like to find out more about Resilience Tracker and how we can support your school with workforce wellbeing and resilience, please email the People and Culture Mailbox.
CES Ltd are obliged to report to the CECV in Week 1 of each term on the following information:
• Total number of emergency drills completed per school for that term
• Total number of emergency management plans
• Total number of reviewed emergency management plans
To support schools with this process, the OHS Team recently launched an Assurance CompliSpace form for reporting. This information is an important part of our ongoing governance reporting.
Next week, a new form will be launched to support schools to upload their EMPs to CompliSpace for Term 4.
An email will be sent to each emergency management contact at School in Week 9.
