eople make places, and in recent years, a sense of neighbourhood and community has developed in Century City making the vision of a safe, walkable, people-friendly suburb a reality. One of the risks of large-scale development in new areas is the sense of being a dormitory town, where residents still have to travel outside the area for work, study and play.
