Fun and water parks AquaPark Tatralandia

Aquapark Tatralandia is the largest aquapark in Slovakia and one of the largest in Central Europe. The source of thermal water is a borehole from which water flows from the depth of more than 2,500 m with a temperature of 60.7 ° C. DinoPark Košice

DinoPark Košice is a fun and educational attraction suitable for families with children of all ages and school excursions. It is located in a forest valley with a stream on an area of 600 acres.

AquaPark Bešeňová

Bešeňová Water Park is a recreation center near the village of Bešeňová in the district of Ružomberok. There are indoor and outdoor pools, water slides.

Mysterium Bojnice

Mystery in Bojnice is a fun puzzle game. The essence is a thematically furnished room with puzzles and secret hiding, which the participants find and solve. To solve mystery rooms takes an hour.

Bachledka Walkway through treetops

The tree-top walk is located in Bachledova Valley in Zdiar. The walkway is 1.8 km long. Here you will find a wealth of information boards, from which you can find interesting information about the fauna, flora and life of local forests, their protection and the devastating power of the weather.

DOBŠINSKÁ ĽADOVÁ CAVE - Slovak Ice Paradise The Dobšinská Ice Cave is one of the most important ice caves in the world. Since 2000 it has been included in the world natural heritage. In the past the cave was the only place where Slovak figure iceskaters could practise.

Trenčiansky hrad This castle was created when Matúš Čák Trenčiansky lived. He owned that castle.

Smolenický zámok This castle is in village Smolenice.

It´s in mountains called Malé Karpaty.

Bojnický zámok This castle is so romantic. It is in city Bojnice. It´s very attractive for filming.

Spišský hrad It was the biggest castle in middle Europe.

You can see the ruins from space.

Hrad Beckov This castle is above the city called Beckov. It is ruins.

Hrad Dobrá Voda This castle is near the city called Dobrá Voda. It´s ruins.

Vlkolínec Vlkolínec is a small village, a part of Liptov region and is in mountain range Veľká Fatra. Since 1993 the village of Vlkolínec has been on UNESCO

world heritage list thanks to typical wooden folk architecture. Čičmany It is a typical village surrounded by Strážov Mountains. It is famous for its original log houses with the typical white ornaments. Fun fact, at the winter Olympic games in Sochi 2014 Slovak athletes were wearing clothes with traditional folk signs from this village. Every year there is a carnival, where a group of locals are dressed in folk costumes.

They sing and dance to traditional Slovak songs.

Wooden churches Traditional wooden churches appear mainly in eastern Slovakia. The oldest one was built around year 1500. They are built entirely out of wood and without the use of any nails.

Since year 2008 some of them are UNESCO world heritage sites.

The highest peak - Gerlach peak  The highest peak of the Tatras, Slovakia and the whole Carpathians.

The Greatest Lake - Great Hincovo Lake  It is the largest and at the same time the deepest lake in the High Tatras in Slovakia.

The highest waterfall - Kmeťov waterfall  The longest waterfall in the High Tatras.

TATRAS High Tatras and Low Tatras. They are located in the northern part of Slovakia on the border with Poland.

The mountains cover an area of 786 km², of which 610 km² is in Slovakia. Their alpine character is made by 30 gables and towers over 2,500 m above sea level.
