Invierno: Imágenes de la arquitectura chilena contemporánea
La Galería de Fotografía presentó, entre los meses de junio y septiembre de 2019, esta exposición que reunió a artistas visuales, fotógrafos y arquitectos en torno a obras construidas en Chile en los últimos 15 años, y que reflejan el buen pie en que se halla nuestra arquitectura a nivel global. La curatoría de Cristóbal Molina - Coordinador del Área de Arquitectura del Ministerio de las Culturas, las Artes y el Patrimonio – buscó validar y divulgar la fotografía de arquitectura como una disciplina autónoma, difundiendo a autores chilenos y extranjeros, quienes realizaron sus registros por todo el país, durante los meses de invierno. La experiencia fue seguida por un equipo audiovisual para la futura realización de un documental, dirigido por José Luis Torres Leiva.
From June to September 2019, Galeria de Fotografia presented this exhibition that gathered visual artists, photographers and architects around works built in Chile in the past 15 years, which show our architecture’s good standing at a global level. The curation of Cristobal Molina - Coordinator of the Architecture Area of the Ministry of Cultures, Arts and Heritage – sought to validate and disseminate architecture photography as an autonomous discipline by divulging Chilean and foreign authors that made their footage throughout the country during the months of winter. The experience was followed by an audiovisual team for the future making of a documentary directed by Jose Luis Torres Leiva.
