lives took a different direction. It was a blessing when Miriam called to say that the Scottish Ballet and Centrestage were in discussions to deliver a weekly dance class in Centrestage, Kilmarnock. My dilemma, I thought that’s great for group members but I had reservations because I knew I couldn’t dance, my teacher told me, but I was going just the once to try it out. What a revelation! A huge thanks to Centrestage staff who are professional, wonderful and lots of fun and Scottish Ballet staff, Miriam, Tiffany and Fee are so graceful, dedicated to giving us a wonderful and funny experience. Their carefully choreographed short vignettes are seasonal and perfectly paced for Parkinson’s sufferers and their carers enabling everyone to get involved. The sessions end with a social café and this is a wonderful way to get to know people and many friendships
