The Centre for Agri-Management is a highly reputed MBA institute that focuses on providing students with practical learning experiences. We at CAM, offer a range of programs, such as the Living Lab, to provide students with hands-on experience in real-world scenarios. The institute's faculty members are highly qualified and experienced professionals from various sectors, including agribusiness, who use a range of teaching methodologies, such as case studies, simulations, and fieldwork, to engage students and encourage critical thinking.
At CAM, students gain valuable teamwork experience through diverse assignments, developing managerial and negotiation skills. Additionally, students undertake projects in various student clubs during their semesters.
At CAM, we employ various evaluation methods, including assignments, case studies, quizzes, presentations, projects, tests, and group discussions, to continuously assess our students. Semester examinations are conducted to evaluate overall performance.
Field visits are crucial. By visiting farms, agro-based industries, markets, and other agricultural institutions, students get to witness the practical application. It also provides opportunities for students to interact with industry experts and gain real-world insights into the challenges and opportunities in the agribusiness sector. Moreover, field visits foster a better understanding of the local context and help students appreciate the socio-economic and environmental implications of agricultural practices.
Lectures supplemented by case studies are carried out in all the courses which enhance students' analytical, problem solving and decision making skills. This facilitates experiential learning among the students, as they face real time business issues, apply their classroom knowledge and strengthen their business acumen.
All the students have the opportunity to enrol for 12 months in the living lab (in campus) for experiential learning process, as a part of their academic curriculum. These activities strengthen their learning outcomes at CAM.
At CAM, we organize regular workshops facilitated by industry experts, who share their knowledge and experiences to equip our students with essential industry-aligned skills. From project management to communication, digital marketing, and business analytics, these interactive sessions empower our students to excel in their chosen domains. Our focus on skill development ensures our graduates are prepared for the dynamic and competitive business landscape.
The Centre for Agri-Management firmly believes in the value of experiential learning that extends beyond the confines of traditional classroom settings. CAM played an essential role in establishing the “Rural Technology Park (RTP)” under RUSA-2.0 in the University campus. RTP, also known as Living Lab, is an experiential platform, which helps in the skill enhancement of students, entrepreneurs and faculty members through training and capacity-building programmes. It makes the best use of local resources, technologies and entrepreneurial skills. It is a platform for the introduction of new and innovative technologies developed by the students’ community and young entrepreneurs. The Park showcases a large number of rural technologies for their demonstration, dissemination & adoption to benefit a larger group of people. It guides students, aspiring agri-entrepreneurs, SHG members and farmers to develop profitable agribusiness enterprises involving Nursery, Mushroom cultivation, Duck-Fish integrated farming, Natural farming, Vermicompost, Bio-compost, Bee Keeping, Protective farming and Urban farming.
CAM's innovative Rural Immersion Module offers students a transformative experience, fostering deep sensitivity towards rural issues through immersive and hands-on learning. With 24RMCs allocated across diverse districts, students engage with local farmers and communities, actively collaborating in the realms of livelihood, health, service, and education. Guided by grassroots organizations, students conduct surveys, participate in group discussions, and engage in informal conversations, gaining invaluable insights into the realities of rural life and empowering them to make a positive impact in these vital areas.

Students at the Centre for AgriManagement have incorporated extension activities of the Living Lab into their course curriculum as a means to gain practical knowledge and skills related to marketing and entrepreneurship. By participating in these activities, students are equipped with the necessary tools and strategies to succeed in the agribusiness sector. Through these extension activities, students are able to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of agribusiness, including marketing, management, and finance, while also fostering an entrepreneurial mindset.
