Irises
Shawna FidlerOil on canvas 50 x 30 cm
$400
Irises is an artwork created by accident. The irises were given to me as a gift.
They looked so inspiring I decided to capture their colour and delicateness.
The artwork honestly did not turn out like I would have liked ideally.
I think there is a good possibility to replicate the artwork with a different foreground and background.
I enjoyed painting the irises immensely as the petals were almost completed within the weekend.

It’s all about perspective
Jennifer Ryan
Oil on canvas
50 x 40 cm
$500
I believe in artworks based on spontaneous inspiration. Each work I create is approached from a unique perspective. Being a selftaught artist I don’t play by the rules. I don’t even know the rules!
Relying on instincts and personal perspectives within an adventurous and experimental manner is central to my processes. It is possible to track my movement from an isolated creative, working at a distance from her work, to one working in a realistic abstraction style, with a tendency towards maxilism, and a touch of surrealism: Revealing emotions through, often kaleidoscopic, colour, and strong bold brush strokes

Wa_ondering Autumn leaves
Sharon Kirk
Handmade paper leaves on eco-dyed silk
82 x 69 cm
$1,000
Our society uses the Gregorian based calendar to give us a map of the shifting revolutions of the seasons, where time is divided into four seasons reflecting the moving tilt of the earth’s axis as it moves around the sun. This then helps us understand the changes of the flora and fauna we see around us.
What if there is another way from that inflexible way of knowing introduced by the first European settlers? What if we could change from a four-season year to a sixseason year that was more commonly used by our Australian Indigenous culture?
