We’re Ready! Covid-19 Preparations for Fall 2020

Our goal is to have the safest, cleanest campus in Connecticut.

All campus facilities and residence halls will be cleaned frequently and thoroughly. Everyone is required to wear a face mask on campus (except in dorm rooms) and hand sanitizer is available in all buildings. Social distancing will be mandated.

Residential Life: COVID-19 testing is required for all resident students and each student must provide proof of negative test results prior to moving in. International students and those from highly affected states (as determined by CT Public Health Dept.) must quarantine for 14 days before moving in.

Two Models of Learning: To ensure social distancing, two-thirds of our classes will be fully online. The remaining courses will use a Hyflex model, combining socially distanced in-person learning for small groups of students while others are online. Cameras provide remote students the ability to interact with those in the classroom, so you won’t miss a beat.
