EARLY ACCESS & PRESALES
Be the first to know! Get early access to newly announced shows and special events, no service fees, just great seats for you and your guests.
UPGRADES AND IMPROVEMENTS
Request better seats each year!
If you want to get even closer to the art you love, you may also request to upgrade your seats to better locations during our annual renewal period. Because the demand and availability of seats can vary greatly by performance, we cannot guarantee that your request will be accommodated. As your renewal or new subscription order comes into our office, it is prioritized first by the date we receive your renewal invoice and full payment, and second according to the number of years you have been a subscriber. We also consider the number of seats requested, ticket and donation history, and seating availability. Insiders members donating at the Leader level ($8,000) and above receive premium priority handling on renewals and new subscription orders.
All Friends donating at the Fan level ($100) or above receive priority access to purchase additional tickets during an exclusive Friends Ticket Presale window.
BOX OFFICE PRIORITY LANE
Skip the lines with access to the Donor and Subscriber Priority Lane at the Ahmanson Theatre. Please note: lane access may be limited closer to showtime to ensure timely seating.
SAME-DAY EXCHANGE
(Within 24 hours of curtain)
Same-day exchanges are available to subscribers for $6 per ticket up to one hour before showtime. Same-day exchanges are not available online and must be made over the phone at 213.972.4444 or in person at the Box Office. Single ticket buyers may make a same day exchange for $25 per ticket.
FREE SEASON TICKET EXCHANGE
Can’t attend one of your performance dates? No problem! Exchange tickets online up to 24 hours before your showtime free of fees by visiting the My Tickets page in your account. If you exchange to a lower-priced ticket, you’ll receive a credit that can be used for additional tickets to the same production only and will expire at the conclusion of that production if not used. Tickets exchanged into a higher price level will increase the price of the new ticket and you will need to pay the difference. There is never a fee to exchange tickets up to 24 hours before curtain time.
GROUP TICKETING
Want to bring a group of friends to a performance? Purchasing 10 or more tickets to a single performance qualifies your group for a range of exclusive benefits including discounted pricing, flexible payment options, invitations to special events, and personalized concierge assistance from our Group Services staff.
We proudly serve a wide range of group clients, including corporate and business entities, meeting and event planners, tour operators, educational institutions, charitable organizations, and coordinators representing various social or special interest groups.

Tickets can be donated from your My Tickets page in your account. An acknowledgement letter for your donation will be mailed to you after the performance has concluded. You may also donate your tickets by calling Audience Services, or at the Box Office. Tickets cannot be donated for past performances.
EVENT INVITES AND SPECIAL GIFTS
Subscribers receive event invitations and special gifts throughout the season. Premiere Pass members receive invitations to special events at Ahmanson opening nights.
MISSED PERFORMANCE TICKETS
If you miss your subscriber performance, you may attend another performance of the same production within the subsequent two weeks, or until the end of the run—whichever comes first. Pending availability, missed performance tickets can be reserved on the day before or the day of the new performance you would like to attend by calling the Subscriber Hotline at 213.972.4444. Your tickets will be available for pickup at the Box Office starting two hours prior to curtain time.
Seating locations are not guaranteed; however, your missed performance ticket will be seated in the best available location designated for missed performance tickets. Missed performance tickets may not be reserved in advance or for premium locations for productions and/or performances that are heavily sold at management discretion. You may also attend standby by visiting the Box Office on the day of the show you want to attend, starting 30 minutes before that performance. Seating is not guaranteed for standby, however, you may call the Subscriber Hotline on the day of that performance for general availability. Missed performance tickets, both reserved and standby, are subject to a $15 fee per ticket.
If you know at least one hour before your subscribed performance that you are unable to attend, we encourage you to take advantage of same-day exchange.

If you are unable to make your scheduled performance and would like to give your tickets to a friend, you can transfer your digital tickets. If you have physical tickets either in your possession or held at the Box Office, please call the Subscriber Hotline.

AT THE SHOW
LATE SEATING
Performances begin promptly. Patrons arriving after curtain time will be seated at an appropriate time that does not disturb the actors or audience. During any such seating hold, stage activities can be viewed on audio/video monitors in the lobbies of all theatres. We encourage you to plan ahead and allow extra time for traffic, parking, and entry into the theatre. Our venues are located in the vibrant Music Center and Culver City where multiple events may be happening at once, which can occasionally affect parking availability and traffic flow.
To help you navigate any potential disruptions—like road closures, limited parking, or special event traffic—we may call or email you important updates and helpful tips. Please keep an eye on our email reminders and alerts.
If you do arrive after the performance has begun, late seating will be at the discretion of the house staff and timed to minimize disruption to the actors and audience. While you wait, you’re welcome to view the performance on lobby monitors with live audio and video feeds.
STAGE TALKS
Post-show discussions, led by artistic staff and joined by members of the cast, are held on two Tuesdays and one Sunday matinee of each Taper production. Call Subscriber Services for a list of dates, or visit CTGLA.org.
Plays, productions, ticket prices, casting, and performance dates, and times are subject to change, and all sales are final. Productions are subject to change over the course of a season. Our seating configuration may change for some productions, sometimes resulting in additional seats being added to the front of the house. Unforeseen events may result in changes to the season schedule. We will notify you of these configuration changes in advance if your seating is affected.
Smoking (herbal, non-tobacco only), stage fog, strobe lights, gun shots, rough language, and nudity may occur in some productions. If you would like to be advised in advance of these occurrences, please contact the Subscriber Hotline at 213.972.4444.
ACCESSIBILITY ACCESS
One Saturday matinee for every mainstage Center Theatre Group production is designated as an ACCESS performance which is designed for patrons who are deaf, hard of hearing, blind, and/or have low vision. ACCESS performances at the Ahmanson Theatre, Mark Taper Forum, and Kirk Douglas Theatre each offer American Sign Language interpretation and Audio Description. In addition, we are proud to offer Open Captioned performances at the Ahmanson Theatre and the Mark Taper Forum.
Become an ACCESS Subscriber to get tickets to these special performances and to unlock exclusive subscriber benefits including a discount up to 25% off single tickets, free and unlimited ticket rescheduling, restaurant discounts, and more. Learn more or call 213.972.4444 for additional information. Please specify what accessibility options you require when you purchase your subscription.
SEATING AND ACCOMODATIONS
We offer accessible seating for persons using wheelchairs or those with mobility impairments along with their attendants or companions. At the Ahmanson, areas for patrons in wheelchairs are available on all levels. At the Taper, wheelchair seating is accessible by means of a platform lift. At the Douglas, seating is accessible in both the main floor and gallery sections. Aisle seats may also be requested at each venue.
Wheelchair and disability accommodations may be made by calling Audience Services at 213.972.4444. Accessible seating can also be purchased online; if you are unable to secure your tickets online, please call Audience Services. If your access needs should change, contact us so that your seating will be correct when you arrive at the theatre for each production. Please try to arrive early if you need help with access, at least 30 minutes prior to curtain if you need to use the lift. Electronic lifts are not operated during performances, so seating in some sections is held until intermission. If a production has no intermission, there will be no seating in those sections once the performance has begun. Fully accessible restrooms are located on each level of the Ahmanson and in the main lobby of the Taper. To help ease lines during intermission, The Music Center has additional
bathroom accommodations on the Hope Street side of the plaza next to the Taper. At the Douglas, fully accessible restrooms are located in the main lobby.
PARKING AND TRANSPORT
At the Ahmanson Theatre and Mark Taper Forum, accessible parking is available for patrons displaying a disability parking placard at both The Music Center Garage and valet parking. The charge at both locations is $10. You will find the parking lot escalators and elevators from The Music Center Garage underneath the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion on the Grand Avenue side. The two escalators located at the center of the garage on the Grand Avenue side lead up to the main Plaza stairs. There is a third escalator located near the Ahmanson Theatre on the Hope Street side of Jerry Moss Plaza. The escalators are programmed to move up prior to curtain and down starting at intermission. You will also find escalators and elevators in the Walt Disney Concert Hall garage. We provide complimentary wheelchair transport from The Music Center curbside locations to the theatres as requested by our guests. Please call The Music Center’s Guest Services department at 213.972.0777 at least 24 hours prior to your performance to reserve pick up. This service is available only for transport from the curbside locations to the theatres. Guests are welcome to tip the ADA transport staff.
LISTENING ASSISTIVE DEVICES
A limited number of listening devices are available free-of-charge, on a first come, first served basis in the front lobby of each theatre. Contact a member of the House Staff for assistance when you arrive at the theatre. A valid driver’s license or government-issued ID is required as a “security deposit” when you check the device out and will be returned to you after the performance.
BINOCULARS
Binoculars can be rented at the Ahmanson Theatre for $5. A valid driver’s license or government-issued ID is also required as a “security deposit” when you check the binoculars out and will be returned to you after the performance.
