No matter what life throws at you, you must keep moving because it doesn’t stand still for anyone. Having constant goals set to work towards, as well as a good support network ensures you are always pushing for success while ensuring you have the love and support from those you trust most.

CSM: What’s the best course of action to take in the face of uncertainty?

In the face of uncertainty, it’s vital not to make any rash decisions, take time to process what has happened and seek advice from those you trust. Always trust your gut and formulate the right questions to get the answers you need.

CSM: Professionally speaking, how can you exude being decisive?

Being positive and optimistic about your goals and missions is important; you attract what you put out into the world so it’s imperative to keep your thought process fresh and confident, as this will help in those decisive moments. Never make any decision based off emotion, take time to consider your options - pause and assess.

CSM: What comeback goals do you want to achieve in 2022?

My comeback goals of 2022 are to striding through new challenges and pushing my boundaries. Getting comfortable in those uncomfortable situations is a big factor for me, you grow and improve in those uncomfortable situations which is key for self-development. Another big area in my life, I want to continue to succeed in is my training and nutrition, look after your body and it will look after you.

CSM: Define confidence and being sexy. I believe confidence is being comfortable in your own skin and accepting every perfection and flaw you have. Owning your traits and who you are is sexy, there is only one of you so get out there and show them.

CSM: How do you standout in a fast-paced and competitive industry?

The modelling industry is so quick and competitive it can be difficult to stand out from the crowd, but being your own unique self is the key. Try new styles, new locations, collaborate with new people! This helps you again step out of that comfort zone and grow.

CSM: Career-wise, how can someone be a good influence to others?

Leading by example is key to influencing others, it one thing to talk about the influential things you want to do with your life, it’s another thing to take those words and put them into actions. If you talk the talk, you must walk the walk. Using your time wisely and putting in that hard work is the best place to start, nothing bad can come from working hard!

CSM: What vital lessons can you share to young people? Surround yourself with like-minded people who really care about you and your goals. Having people that understand you and accept you for you are the foundations to success. Be confident in yourself and what you know is right for you.

ON FITNESS TRAINING AND HEALTHY LIFESTYLE:

CSM: What do you think is the role of food or nutrition in healthy living? Nutrition is a vital part to healthy living. Having a nutritional and balanced diet is not only important physically, but mentally. You need to fuel your body with high quality food to maintain a positive mood and wellbeing which is an important requirement to reach the high goals you set for yourself.

CSM: How can you maintain your consistency of weight or shape? Tracking your food is the secret to maintaining physique and shape. Training hard to work towards your fitness goals, alongside tracking what you eat will get you where you want to be. Be determined, visualize your success and be consistent – Rome wasn’t built in a day.

CSM: What fitness goals do you want to attain?

My fitness goals for 2022 are to continue to build my dream physique with the help of my personal trainer where we constantly assess my nutritional needs to make sure we are on track to increase muscle mass while putting in valuable hours in at the gym.

CSM: What exercises do you consider fundamental? Core and body weight exercises are fundamental to any workout. Having a strong core helps stabilize and protect your big muscle groups which lowers chances of injury, where body weight exercises allow you to build muscle strength, balance, and flexibility.

CSM: What gym etiquette that people must follow?

Respecting personal space is a big one for me. Gyms get crowded, especially during the first few months of the year but you should still try to respect everyone’s personal space, we don’t want to make anyone uncomfortable. Also, it goes without saying but put your equipment back!

CSM: When you’re stressed, how do you manage it?

Recognizing your mental state and that you are stressed is the first tasks if you don’t understand your emotions and how you are feeling you can never begin to deal with it. I personally tend to take some alone time to reflect on the situation I am feeling, taking part in hobbies I enjoy such as the gym or football allows me to turn my attention elsewhere so I can destress and reflect.

CSM: Expound why mental health matters in the digital age. I feel like with the rise of social media, mental health is very important; as we as human beings tend to compare ourselves to others. Positive role models in the social media space are so important to remind us that social media is not real life, and that you are perfect just the way you are.

CSM: Simplify if mental and physical health are connected or not.

Mental health and physical health go hand in hand, if one of these suffers the other will too. Looking after yourself by exercising, eating well, and cutting out any bad habits will help improve your physical and mental health.

CSM: In achieving fitness goals, what do people should remember?

Setting achievable and realistic goals is the first step; settings unrealistic goals you will never reach will have a detrimental effect to your motivation. Set small achievable goals, work hard, smash them out the park and the rest will follow.

CSM: What stereotypes should people break when it comes to physical and mental health? I believe it’s okay not to be okay, and to reach out for help and support when struggling – don’t suffer in silence.
